Not sure if this was supposed to be a jab at me or not, but I'm familiar with humor and uncertain how a book on the subject would help me.

I have no problems recognizing humor when I see it. I have seen none here, so perhaps it's you who should pick up the book.

i think it might have lived had you not burried the whole thing, it is just a weed after all and you can do some pretty fucked up things to them and they will live, but shit man if you burried the whole thing i think the chances o it popping out of the ground are pretty small

Oh, you are quite wrong about that! Dude stuck both ends of a plant in the dirt and is hoping it will grow into a mutant pot plant. Around here, we call that mulch, and that IS funny!
