double up ur grow

im thinking of running my flowering room 24 7. After 12 hours that my first set of plants get. I will go and put them in my dark room and put the plants in the dark room in my flowering room. Means i can have 12 plants on the go instead of 6. Plus i will have to change them around so i won't be able to go anywhere but i get a double harvest.

thats a cool idea!ive never thought of doing anything like that but coz ive only got 1 grow wadrobe i might try it!

im gonna give it go next grow it will double up what u use to grow in electricity. For me to have 6 plants instead of 12 is a big bonus.

Its sounds good but it will do your head inn after a day or 2 plus it could cause some stress on your plants i will work thou just lots of hassle and stress on u and the plants the less movment the better and u never want hermies

I had 2 buy a oversize storage box in the end 2 veg a few clones untill the others finished flowering

I cant see how moving a plant is going to stress it. Im growing in soil and have moved plants in the past. Moving a plant from one room to another wont hermie it im geussing. I thought it was to do with changing light patterns i maybe wrong. Some people grow in pots outside and move there plants inside at night. I thought as long as they get 12 12 they would be fine. Yes it would be stressful but my gf can help me out with it. I will give it a go but its a lot commit to but i can do it.

I will work 4 u,,, i did it for a day or 2 and just got fcked of with it haha every nite and every morning

dunno how much stress it can cause depends how carful u are really
I just dont like moving them about 2 much at all

should work 4 u thou if your commited im just lazy

i hope it will work and doubling my grow is my reward for the hard work put in.

yeah it seems like it would be a lot of work but of course rewarding... if it works for you go for it

its easier than looking after a puppy. And i got help if i need it.

Why dont you just set up both rooms with lighting instead of moving all your plants daily?

That means buying another hps and defeats the purpose. This way is easier it wont take me more than 10mins to change them over. Its no trouble picking up a plant and taking it next door. Just keep the light on 24 7 and swap ur plants over every 12 hours. This way u double ur harvest without buying another lamp.

sure that might work but why do you want to work harder? plus most of us work you know regular job.but good luck buddy.

Yes, youll need to be home EVERY DAY just to save money on light that you would earn back in less than a grow. Also 10 min twice a day, 20 min x 2 months (60 days) is 20 hours more work a grow.

VV has a god point seems like alot of work just to save your self an extra light...but all the powet too you if you can handle it...but i had the idea....im not sure if this would work for you, i dont know your setup. But saying it is possible...set up both flowering rooms right beside each other (in the same room or space ,assuming it big enough) and instead of moving the plants...move the light . This can be done by installing an upside down track with part of it extending into both flowering rooms, while divideing the rooms with a hang up "wall" that light cannot penatrate, which has a zipper so the light can slide from side to side yet still allowing for the wall to be closed...slide it to one side for twelve hours then back for the other twelve zipping it up each time...i dont know if you get me and it will take a bit to set up ..but once set up, sliding a light is easier then moving 12 plants every 12 hours ...lmao i am STONED

yup i know what im getting into but its not much work at all, It wil be quicker than and easier than brushing my teeth. My set up is simple and if i thought moving the light would be easier i would do this. I got a flowering closet and total dark closet in another room. Now taking down my hps and moving it is way to hard. All i got to do is move 6 plants to the dark room and move the other 6 plants to the flowering room. Wont take me long at all.

or....

get a 30$ relay, and one more bulb. the relay will flip the power from one spot to the other, making two rooms on 12/12. one ballast, two bulbs. here is a link....

there are light relays to run 2 lights from one ballast @ 12/12 each side.
that way you dont have to worry about moving them around

i had a look at ur link very interesting thank you something i may look into but im determined to run my hps 24 7 and rotate the plants for now
