Double Your Pleasure Almost Free

The way my grow is set up, I flower in a bedroom, and the dark period is done in a different part of the house. This was working well until it hit me. The light is off for 12 hours and the closet is empty for the same 12 hour period. I'm wasting time. Why didn't I see this sooner? My vegging area was getting a little crowded anyhow, I thought, "Just leave the light on". That was it! I grabbed 2 from the vegging area, uncluttering it FTW, and put them under the normally dormant HPS. Now I have flowers running in two shifts, doubling my everything. Just add the cost of the HPS400 for 12 hours a day, and that's it, the other stuff is on anyhow.

A system is created boom!

Nothing like when a plan comes together I always say!

For how simple this is, i never thought of it lol. You could make the system more streamlined if you had tables with wheels on them to rotate in and out. Or if you had the plants on rolling drip catchers.

That's a good one to realize for sure. I like the rolling table idea.

thats great BUT,....I did this for about a year using the 2 sides of my cab. After a year I decided that I should just get another system. I put the order in then BAM, system down, burnt out. Lucky for me istill had my old 250 watt that lasted all of 2 days of that shyt.

All im saying is dont forget the more you run it the faster they burn out......bulbs also. Good thing I placed that order, then got another the following month......now each side has its own 400w....just sayin

Great idea... if you have no need for an air scrubber.

The only problem is that you have to change them over every 12 hours, means you need to be home every 12 hours, would be cool if you set up 2 boxes/rooms next to each other and had a light mover between each room and it went automatically

I figured the bulbs might last longer, typically what kills electronics, everything from a TV to a bulb, is turning them on an off.

The issue with this is moving the plants/light every day into the sealed other grow room. While this sounds like an awsome system unless you can solve the logistics I can see thsi being a real PITA.
