I'm gonna spray 3 days with forbit & then spray azatrol & then repeat twice more....if I can't kill them, I'm gonna pull everything infested and maybe the others too..I'm getting ride of my dirt & smart pots as soon as I harvest (if I do)....I need to eradicate these mites this season so they won't effect next year too....I'll spray Avid as soon as the plants are out....

^No need to discard smart pots. Just solarize them in large clear trash bags.

Don't go crazy with the stuff, trust me. Spray once, and go get it again on the third day. They will be dead, they aren't resistant pesticides. Not that quick at least

I have way too much at stake for next season, this years carport is immaterial in the big picture...I can live without the carport buds.....the mites must be stopped at all costs.....
Well in that case, go for it. But you wont need to spray more than two or three days in a row. Forbid works really well. I only sprayed once lightly and it stopped spreading altogether. I check the leaves every day. But in a semi crowded carport like yours, it might be tougher to rid of. Good luck though, this was the first year I found out about them. Realized iv had them my last two years growing, but they never spread. Just on the small branches that are only good for a second cut. Everyone in my town has it this year

Yep I picked it up this mornin been out picking dead and damaged leaves and cleaning all debris out of the beds most of the day. Been contimplating pulling the straw out of the smartpots seeing as how the plants provide enouf shade now and am wondering what lil pests the straw is hiding going to fog met 52 tonight and pray it does the job fast

Funny that PC I was wondering last year if the sugar cane straw mulch I used played any part in hiding or helping the mites

I see plenty of spiders when I water im sure the mites probly are not in there but if a leaf comes off atleast with plain dirt you can see them easyer
