Dr Chronics Lights, worth it?

So I came across the lights on Dr Chronic and well they want 150 for a 250 or 400 I cant remember but it wasnt anymore then 200 and this is for the ballast the bulb and reflector The Hydro store down the road from my place they want 138 for one HPS bulb 40 for a reflector and about 200-250 for a ballast should I take the Docs advice and buy of the net or go to the Hydro store down the road

hydro stores totally rip you off for lighting. Do not buy from them. Internet like david said.

Arite thanks you guys just saved me a fuck load of money I was about to spend close to a grand on these lights. Would anyone be able to point me out to a good light? I don't plan on having more then 3-4 going maybe 5.

If you are going to grow 4-5 plants, a 400 watt hps is perfect. Something like this would work out well. It's from HTG supply so it's a little more expensive since it is new. If you don't need a new one or you want a reflector that you can attach ducting and cool the light, there are all sorts of others on eBay. Just do a search for '400 hps' I have one and bought mine for $140 shipped. Good luck
