Dr.greenthumb genetics worth the $$$?

Is Dr.greenthumb a reliable seed company and are his seeds legit?

I've been researching drgreenthumb and Im very unsure about his seeds; some people are saying he has the best seeds/genetics hands down and others saying he's straight BS and his seeds aren't always fems and that they don't sprout additionally his genetics arent the real deal. Literally his feedback is very contradicting and I believe its time to end this charade. So what is it hes legit or no, also if anyone grown his freedom 35 and can describe it that would be awesome because thats the main strain I wan't but just no info on its growth besides what he has on his site. :leaf:

Pick and choose wisely and you'll be very happy. I'm growing his Bubba OG right now after seeing some and it's straight fire.......but I only ended up with 8 plants out of 21 seeds at $200 a pack for 10/11 seeds. Very poor germination rates with some of his stuff.

On the other hand, I grew his Endless Sky and it was my worse crop in 10 years. Straight hay......... sucky shit.

What I've read, the claims on Freedom 35 are unfounded and NOT done as early as stated. He also has a team of internet shills that go out and attack anyone who posts anything negative about a strain claiming bad growing skills, newbie at growing, etc. He's also a bit of a dick most times when u contact him to complain, etc......so, what you're seeing is correct: there's good and bad, just like every other seed vendor/breeder out there.

I would have to agree to disagree on your freedom 35 after some more research ive came upon a member on this forum and he has videos start to finish of his freedom 35 and he said at 40 days their perfect.

Look around......you'll find others that have had to go quite a bit longer. 45-50 days is more like it. I've seen others go even longer.

Dr. G also claims Endless Sky finishes in 42 days and I've seen it go up to 70 days.

Depends on which pheno's you get I guess........

I've used Nirvana seed bank, everything is 100%. The seeds the transaction everything is done in a way that it doesn't show up as seeds purchased on your card. The package it is shipped in is even covert, a great company for seeds I haven't had a problem yet!

I have had nothing but success with Dr. G seeds.....Fast delivery and good stealth shipping.

All the strains I've run have had a 90% hatch rate.

Just thought I might add some specific answers to your questions as per my experience.

I've never gotten a Male from any of his seeds I've popped.

As per ANY seed breeder. I would say that 1-2 weeks longer run times are the norm. Some are closer then others, but it's still "longer is better".

As for popping seeds. There are many differing ways to go about it....some seem better then others. After trying several, what works the best for me (hands down) is to use the paper towel in a butter tub/tupperware bowl, covered ON a seed mat....24 hrs to pop/plant, some times 48 for a few stragglers.

As with any seed breeder. There are people that have problems with some of their products.....

Should have added this stuff to the last post but only thought of it as I watched the new snow coming down on the last 24" from the last 36hrs.

in over a decade of growing greenthumb gear i have never had a hermie plant and all the strains i've gotten from them have been absolute top shelf

I received 6 seeds of G13 for $400. They were grown out along 7 diiferent strains from various seed banks. The G13 was by far the lowest quality ditch weed I've ever grown. The yields were average compared to the other varieties in the room. I don't how this guy gets away with charging $100 per seed for garbage genetics.

i hear fem ceeds still have a chance to be males, they're called feminized because it's very rare to get the male, meaning it isn't impossible (maybe higher chance of males on a bad batch of fem ceed?)
I've heard bad things and good things about greenthumb, you're gonna see people are dying for it because they are original genetics, and can help you re-breed the new genetics
so to get a keeper, it will likely cost a good amount of dough, but that keeper could by chance be very valuable

Maybe you harvested too early or too late, we don't know your level of experience but everyone I know thinks the G13 is straight fire and an unbeatable yield

I had a very impressive yield for the G13 and I did see a lab test done that had it in the high 19% THC range. I would definitely not call that ditch weed.

Well i recently ordered from him, for one i got it in three days so thats unreal fast imo. for two the seeds were all fully mature great quality looking seeds. and last i cracked em all in 24 hours or less. soooo take that info for what it is but ive yet to hear something bad about the guy besides he can be a dick at times. and to be honest if i had growers calling me bitching all day i would prob be a dick too.
