I've done both Big Laughing and an indica from their mix that I think is a kush. Both were fantastic, Big Laughing is the best strain I've grown. Has just the kind of silly high I love sometimes, and is very potent. Both strains were easy to grow and very forgiving of grower's errors.
"why are they so pricey"
The $280 question. Genetics are good but compare them with Cannabis Cup winners at Attitude and it's ridiculous. My guess is that its a business choice - more money per sale but less sales; less work for the same amount of money. With genetics and breeding skill to justify the price to some people. Expensive seeds will draw some people.
The Pick 'n Mix owner was on asking suggestions for new lines to carry and I pitched Greenthumb. It'd be great to be able to buy a single Origional Cheese fem seed for $30, keep a mother and grow clones.

Endless Sky is their big seller, 42 - 45 days flower, very potent. An indica stone I believe. They breed clone only fems like origional Cheese & OG Kush, lots of interesting strains.

ordered seeds from them for the very first time.got seeds in about 12 days from order.they have a live operator if you call.as far as i know, the strains are supposed to be good

Feminized breeding, when a mother is hermied to pollinate herself. The offspring is an S (Self pollinated) 1 (first generation self pollinated), which is weaker than it's parent.
'S1 original clone' means feminized seeds made from hermieing an original clone and having her pollinate herself. "I'm the dude playing the dude disguised as another dude!"

"S1: The first selfed generation. Selfing an S1 produces an S2, etc. Anecdotal evidence from Sam_Skunkman indicates that continued selfing to the S3 and S4 produces plants so weak that they must be handled very carefully, “like kittens” in his words."

what kind of yield can i expect from an outdoor big laughing grown at the 22nd lattitude?if i put in ground in march in hawaii, what month would i be able to harvest?thanks for any responsesI have Big Laughing in my garden all the time. Easy to grow, short flowering period, good producer, fantastic silly laughing up high, very potent. And the taste is amazing, like a woody spice.
