$15 per seed is a bad loss but $100 per seed is like slitting a vein. I would like to see how Freedom 35 turns out but I think it will hover around 12% THC and take around 45-days.

I had it tested at 40 days and it came out closer to 15%.
THC numbers don't tell the whole story anyway.....

thanks im excited too! and ya the soil does have some which could have done that as well. and i just raised the lights funny u say that as a precaution in case that was hurting them as well. i dimmed my 1000 watt down to 500. yes its still over kill but i wanna get this tent running right because it will eventually become a sog or scrog tent
I didn't think you had the 1,000 watt over the plants. That could have to do with the burning and the slow growth in the beginning. I still think it's nute burn. I don't think I've seen burnt tips and edges from low humidity before
If the 1000 watt was doing any damage I think it would only cause heat stress or light bleaching.
If you have any fluorescent bulbs I'd use those while the plants are young. You can get them more close to your plants and there's little risk of them hurting your plants compared to HPS.

ya i do have a mother box with cfls in it and it prob is nute burn but i have had leaves crumble before from heat stress so that could be part of it, i mean im around 22 in from the plants and its at 50% i didnt think it would be too much as my last grow went flawlessly under it but i think these plants are a bit sensitive and are gonna take some care and close monitoring

Freedom 35: I have read that they can be sensitive. This strain could be a slow starter too. It could be heat stress as well.
Whatever it is I'm sure they'll pull through.

i appreciate that thanks ya i tend to be pretty sensitive about anything that happens to my plants for some reason lol

now if u notice little bit of white on the plants i believe it is a calcium deposit because my humidifier is basically a fogger and everything is getting calcium and lime build up on it in my tent. it doesnt look like powdery mildew to me ive had it before and it doesnt really look like this but i could be wrong. but im thinking im right.

Looking better! Whatever was causing the burnt edges is gone! Plant 4 looks like it has a little heat stress with the leaves cupping. Is plant 4 in the center of all the other plants? The reason I ask is because of the heat stress and I saw your temperature/humidity meter with the plant.

Is it safe for the humidifier to run in the tent? I have heard if a little bit of water or oil/grease gets on your bulb while it's running and hot that it can crack or bust the bulb. Glad to see your plants are doing better!

Thanks! and i put that meter there to show the plant size but yes normally this one is in the center and does seem to have some heat stress. since the pics i moved the lights and it seeme to help. and as for the humidifier idk about grease or oil but i use a cool hood and on the glass it has built up some calcium deposits but i cleaned it off with vinagar and its nice and clear again

I forgot you were using a air cooled hood haha. I was just concerned about the humidifier busting a bulb. Does your inline fan cool the hood AND replace the air in the tent?

hahaha well kind of yes, i have a carbon filter in the tent and the inline pulls through that and pushes it through the light and out the tent then out the window. i have a mushroom filter to equalize the tent and it loses zero cfm as well

and if it wasnt a cool hood i would assume that the humidifier would bust a bulb which would be a huge mess lol

I searched mushroom filter but didn't find much info on it. Is there much of a difference between a mushroom filter and a regular filter? Do you run your fan at full power or do you have a fan speed controller for it? Sorry for asking so many questions hahah
