Well the jury is still out re potency but yield did suck. That may not have been strains fault though and warrants another run to dial it in. there were two distinct pheno's, tall one was the good yielder and the shorter lots of fluff, again could be me :o. It's definatly not as potent as led to believe but it would take an amazing plant to make me say "oh no I've smoked to much" lol. As for the cost, yup kinda pricey but I'm on my third run and we've takin over 70 clones :).

And for the record I find the Doc's work great! Love the information and detail. Don't take me wrong, I'm sitting on the can vaping OZ now and yes I'm high :).

Me too re growing a long time lol. It's not the best I've grown but would have to be the top 10, I didn't separate what I have harvested and I do think there is a distinct difference in the two pheno's with the one quite nice, haven't figured out which that is lol, I'll separate them when I do the rest of the grow next week :)

So final approx tally of grow (the second one) was 17 jars (about an ounce each) and a shit pile of fluff and trim. There was an amazing amount of undergrowth once the upper half was taken off. This grow could have been much better if not as crowded and trained I think. Potency is well, ok I guess, as a old guy that has smoked pot everyday for hmmmm, 35 years :(, it's hard to impress lol. I've smoked better but this IMO is upper mids maybe, I never get to the oh no zone.

i am searching for particular mood altering characteristic's when i grow herb...the shorter one should be more the chemo pheno..

i smoke pure sativa in the day..chemo is not multidimensional ...it has a particular characteristic i cannot seem to find elsewhere.

...most "other " indica's seem to have too many characteristics...hence they do not provide me with what i want....

your samples looked nice..resinous..however it may not have been finished.[ie still too many red hairs ]....

it is one of the hardest plants to grow perfectly.[dialed]...i seldom do

i found a chemo pheno in 4 chemo bubba's that was very chemo..

and yes it was the least beautiful of the chemo bubba i grew..i will put up with not the easiest to

get "glory looking" weed to get what mybrain/body needs

ie. chermdawg chemo bubba, bubba/og, will give glory looking weed and get you really "indica'd"

but when i find the unmistakable chemo taste my brain says..ok this is .."it"..hang onto that bag!

I basically had two pheno's, one short and one tall and yes the shorter one may be a bit more potent but still not what I was led to believe. I actually did two harvest and left the lower bud sites to mature longer. I actually like the earlier harvested product versus the longer one. Could you explain what you mean by too many red hairs, not sure I understand and actually still have probably over 60 plants growing outside with partners, would be nice to know your thoughts. Thanks.

I'll keep everyone posted re the outdoor girls. I personally have 8 oh zone in my back yard and another 6 think different. The oh zone may have a problem finishing before the fall rains and cold hit here, that typically leads to bud rot.

I'm always sticking more in thinking I'll cull a few and can't bring myself to do it lol.

Best to keep em relatively small and spaced out inside Bud.

I've found that less is more , more times than not.

Less strains

Less nutrients

Less manual labour

Anything that can be reduced or automated should be.

The more space they have in there the more light they will be able to keep to them selves. They don't like to share and trees don't work well inside from my experience.

I stuck heap of plants in Hemp buckets once as they had gotten to tap to sit on the trays.
Added side lighting ect ect

Waste of time for me, didn't produce any where near as much "sog"

I've never grown outside, that would be allot of fun!

I know, I know lol. And other than them getting to big everything was good lol. It was more a timing thing this time, trying to do a perpetual and not having it set up right, having to wait for plants to finish allowed the others to get to big for flower etc. That's what I'll work on in the fall but thinking drain to waste buckets would work better for me, we'll see next fall when I start again inside.

May 7th they were turned to 12/12 under T5's for a week then moved. Harvested week 2-3 of May so appr 9-10 weeks. And yup miss that boat :(, sold it last year and it's in Florida now. I have a 22' deck boat that is great for the lake I'm on, the one I sold was a tad large for it lol. Great boat for salmon on the big lake though, handled 6' waves really nice :o.

you run a good thread
i have a 19+ ft flats type boat..
ohzone would be an end of oct finish
around 45 n lat
