Did you read the link I posted? At the time I read it, the day star had some of the worst reflective scores. It was all lopsided and pretty damn weak.

Yes the day star does not have the best reflection score but it keeps my light super cool, when I use it. Also I think it Is one of the smallest air cooled reflectors that handles wattage up to 2000 watts! If only in a 2x2 anyway there is plenty of reflection from the Mylar in the tent. I think max yield out of a 2x2 must be done with a scrog because I look at it like this; If your scrog is a 2x2 and the holes are 1 inch then it may be possible to pull over a pound with only 400 watts from the 2x2... 24x24=576 you wil probably not fill up every hole but it's possible! I will be posting pics of my current set up under a new thread called dr60 mr. Nice and that will be my last thread... I will be starting my next grow in that thread and should have seeds in the dirt in 3 weeks, it is gonna get scroggy

A pound off a 400? Good luck with that. Even a pound under a 600 is pretty damn good

It's not too hard, a mate of mine got 14 oz from a DWC plant under 400 watts, thing was vegged for 5 months though lol

five months veg time? I guess if you only want to get 1 harvest a year.. or... Veg for one month and get 4 harvests a year.
i can see maybe veg for an xtra month. there are many aspects you have to consider when growing. for instance if you are trying to get a pound from 400 watts i think it needs to be in a screen (scrog) and a Hulk of a plant that can just eat nutes like a fucking a dinosaur would eat your face, i mean this plant has gotta grow and it has to be able to take the abuse of the screen. a 4 month total grow time from seed is what im thinking with a scrog however.......heres the uh oh, if you grow 9 medium lollip'd trees will you get more in a total of 3 month=4 harvest a year compared to a 1 plant scrog maybe 2 in that have to go at least 4 months so only 3 harvst a year max plus if you are using you tent to dry you gotta take a week out for each harvest soooooooo think on that i've some new flavors i wanna pipe down on .... @ legally flying where in CO are ya? its fucking cold.....

I'm in oregon actually. 
But it has been cold here as well. You will definitely get more buds from 3-4 separate grows compared to one monster grow. At the end of the day, it comes down to wattage. You can only get so many quality buds per light bulb. I saw a spreadsheet once that detailed it all out.. vegging can get pretty damn expensive when you have allot of lights. With one 400 watt it's not such a big deal. but with 4-5 thousand.. it adds up, quick. If it were more efficient to grow big plants, you would see more commercial guys doing it. Hands down the most cost effective way to grow buds is the SOG with minimal veg time. If your legal, you can't do that, so SCROG is the next best thing.
I am of the mindset that you have to have another tent to propagate and veg in. My tent is a littlle small so the plats get super crowded and they stretch like mad; but if I take clones when the previous crop goes into 12/12 then a day or two after harvest, there is a new crop that goes under the screen. I train for maybe a week (cause they are so stretchy already the instantly get bent under the screen) take cuttings for clones...BANG.. 12/12 again.

Ok Titycaca Just Turned My 400 CMH A Couple Of Days Ago.The Hottest It Got Was 80.2 Degree's I've Noticed That My Light Runs Around 77-78 Degrees.My Cab Is 36x21x65 I Cool It With 1 133Cfm Computer Fan Actually I Have 2 Computer Fans But It's Winter So Im Only Using 1.The Main Reason Im Using A CMH Is That It Run's Cooler Than A HPS And I Like the Color Spectrum.Peace And Hair Grease
