Drastic Change In Water Quality or Meters Off?

So the last two times I watered there has either been a difference in my water or my meters are off.

Usually the tap water I use has about 85ppm and a pH of 7.75. Now it is a pH of 7.0 and just over 200ppm.

I would have thought it was just my meter, but both readings are different. My water pressure has gone to shit lately, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I have not calibrated my meters in about 2 months, but I have a hard time thinking its the meters since it was both at the same time.

What do you guys think? Have you ever had anything like this happen?

Thanks for the help

Bob

The only thing that is weird to me is that I have seperate PPM and pH meters. Both the pH and the PPM changed on the same day. I will recalibrate both meters, but it just seems odd that both meters would be off on the same day.

Water quality can change from real life environmental conditions. IE Rain, storms, droughts etc. This also will vary on the source of water also.

Well I went out and got the buffering solution for my pH meter, I can't get them for my PPM meter at my local shop because it takes the 800ppm solution.

After calibrating my pH meter, I found that it was off by .01 This was nothing. So its looking like the water quality has changed and it wasn't my meters. We will see if it ever goes back to what it was.
