It really depends on the strain how much they smell exactly but at this point you should smell something, and you do, so all is well. At 45 days of flower time my Road Runner (autoflower) is stinkin up the entire room the box is in...

yeah, it might be a strain thing... some strains don't smell much at all. my first grow (sour diesel) smelled like a mother fucker, especially the last couple weeks and during drying. the smell changes a lot while it's drying (smells like hay) and then once it starts curing in jars, it changes back to a skunky pot smell that's much better. good luck with the harvest, when are you chopping?

They look good now, I can tell from the pics your trichs are turning amber really quickly. Im jealous, my Road Runner is still only about 10% amber.

they're looking good kushkid. couldn't really tell you about trichs without a scope, but in another 10 days you should have some pretty decent buds. what's your drying/curing plan?

I say this method is awesome and it was takin from someone on riu, just not sure who.
Short version: Cut plants and take off main branches, hang all to dry for 2-3 days.
Take branches down, trim up buds and remove them from branches leaving just 1/4" of stem.
Put all bud into a paper bag in a thin layer and put shredded brown paper bag over that layer. Repeat this as needed.
Dry bud until stems snap, but not break (or something like that)
Then put your bud into jars. Open the jars 3-5 times a day and let the bud air out for a few mins. After a month you will have awesome cured bud. :)

the way i did it was:
- first i cut the main branches one by one and trimmed all the leaves off (you can keep the small sugar leaves near the buds for making hash or butter)
- then i hung them to dry in a box like you're saying... mine took about 4-5 days, it'll depend on size. you want a crispy feel to the buds, but the stems still not snapping.
- then cut each bud off at the branch node, and put them in jars.
- you check the jars a few times a day at first to make sure the buds don't get soggy (if they do, take them out for a few hours until they're crispy again)
- then as the days go by, you check less and less often... after about 5 days from first jarring, i was leaving them in there for 1-2 days at a time.

hope this helps
