Dried and cured too fast, help?

If you distill it and get the water out first it will work better. You have to distill it anyway for it to clean the oil, because the junk stays in the heated part and the good stuff goes to your condensing part.
I used 60 or 70% iso to make some hash just last week, It took a while to dry the water, but it did. But if you have to distill it anyway.

I can just buy a gal of 190 everclear at the liquor store. But I had the gal iso around for months now

Ok I’ll have to look into getting the water out for more proof. I have 2 bottles of 99% ISO, will this help ? Or not really

I don't know why you couldn't use that? All I saw was Ethanol mentioned though.
You could distil the iso and thc, out of the bho.
Then either, distill it again to remove the iso or let it evaporate.

Try a small batch, but people clean stuff with iso all the time and evap it and dab the recliam.

To be honest i use any the shop has but try for them with zero impurities,
Mine is all for personal smoke so i cut loads of corners...
I hav jus been giving sum trim so will gey sum pics as making it

Yeah the puretane is 99.9998 % pure and the colibri is 99.9994% pure. I have more colibri so I’m going to blast all of my stuff with the same brand butane. Got 6.5 o stuffed in my 24” tube. I’ll try and grab some picture to load also , I’m hoping this one goes much better than the last 2.

Nice! Here is a few picture of mine so far, doesn’t look like much yield though, which I’m surprised as the buds were fairly sticky, it was outdoor, 8 months old but still, 184 grams and this is what the result is so far, still ongoing so I’ll post more after, (and yes I blasted outside lol) I don’t bring my phone out with me so I snagged a picture inside quick

So i finally got my ounce but ut was mimosa i ran 21g kept 7 and got 5.6 return on dab....
Ground the buds up in my grinder

Maybe heats a bit high and it starts to turn after about 3 hours 20210628_201022.jpg

Looks nice, I was able to get 20 grams from the 184 of outdoor 1year old bud. Hits nice and is a nice day smoke as it doesn’t knock you down like some indicas. Pretty dark but still nice colour in person

So do you grind your bud or blend it before you run it

I grinded it when I did the full buds. My only issue I had was I got right to the end of my 24” tube and wasn’t able to pack it as tightly at the last 2 inches so as I was blasting unnoticed near the end it all concocted and slid down. Do you think this has anything to do with yield? I had it started in my 12” tube but looked like it was going to be enough to fill the 24” but was just shy, should I have stuck with the smaller tube ? Or do you think it all got blasted fine?
