So folks i end up buying masterblend 0-12-24,i use it with jack cal nit , i like it but it clumps up like there is no tomorrow , it does throw ec off a bit but works. I pushed it to 3 ec with 0 issues (280 ppm is my water , total is 1600 ppm ) all nice and healthy.
Can you explain the "clumping"? What exactly is happening.. is it while you are mixing it or ?

All you need is Jacks A, B, and Epsom. The other blends are just supplementary, except RO, which is actually really nice for a veg/mother tent. Seen people flower with it, but I haven't tried it yet.

I got the big bags of A and B for $120 and it will last me at least 5 years.

Jack's RO or tap and MgSo4 is all you need. EC 1.2-1.5. Make a stock solution if you like to deal with liquid. If you want to cut nitrogen then get GH 0-5-4 for the end of flowering.

I don't think replacing 5-12-24 with this will work thats why. I switched to masterblend 0-12-22

Absolutely.
Hobbyists and professionals alike do NOT have nutrient levels down to a perfect science. They are still discovering stuff, and you can have one researcher say one thing, and another say something different. Sometimes they aren't university level experiments, but people who did their own research and found something they've been willing to share. Also different cultivars may want different levels of a single element. You need to be able to provide that.

So having FULL control over all aspects of the Nutrients levels is where we need to end up. If a pre mix fits the bill as YOU see it, go for it. But if someone wants to run very little P at the end of flowering, then a 0-5-4 is NOT the right move.

Use the flora bloom 0-5-4 without Jacks if you want no nitrogen in the end. I use Jacks tap or RO tapered down to EC1.0 last week before two week flush. NPK ratio of 3-1-4 is perfect for every plant i have grown, for 30yrs. May have to adjust the EC for some plants but EC1.2-1.5 will be perfect for every plant. Get whatever brand gets you the 3-1-4 ratio the cheapest. If you are using water with some alkalinity get one with a little NH4. I use the Tap and RO alternating with my well water. 25lb bag of each every 2 months.

I just picked up a bag of this. It was clumped up pretty good but when I put it in the bucket I just broke it up with my hands. How are you liking it? how did you end up running it?
