Driver for Citizen COB's

Hey guys

If i want to drive 8 CLU048-1818 chips at 50-60w each, what would be your suggestion for drivers? According to datasheet the Vf on the chips is ~52v. Ideally, i would like 2 drivers to power 4 chips each at around 200w, to a total of 400w. I'm having trouble finding any drivers for this purpose... Please help if you can, thanks

Edit: 6 chips with 3 on each driver at slightly higher amperage would also be fine!

Those will run up to 220 watts, 3 or 4 or 5 cobs, whatever you prefer.

With that particular driver, you would wire parallel. I have the same one

Yup, parallel and you can add as many cobs as you want! Id run at least 3 in case you have a failure, 2 should keep working as long as the heatsinks can handle it. Do you have heatsinks picked out? I like the mechatronix ones that are like 150mm wide and 50mm thick, rated for about 75w for $15 each from CDI. I just built the exact same light you are planning for my cucumbers with driver above and 4 1818 3000k 90cri version 6 which is a nice boost from the older gen 5 cobs.

I'm most likely going old school with cooling, and will use Arctic Alpine 64 Plus.
