Driver swap help

Basicly 2x 3way wagos, one connects to + driver and 2 separate wires to + on boards, and same thing for the negatives. As it is now the 2 boards share the current but in order to get to the second board the current has to travel thru the first boards traces. This causes a bit extra heating up in the first board. But it isnt the biggest of deals in the world.
Sick thanks for letting me know imma pick some up asap!

OP: this is a thread for driver questions/matching and generally powering led boards. Some of the info may be a bit dated as this one started loooong ago, but series and parallel stuff is still the same:

You can also get info on youtube, Growmau5 diy guide should still be up, but again, a little dated on product selection as most people dont work with cobs anymore, and parallel connection seems more the norm nowadays while series was the norm back then.

I do sympathise with both you and prawn on asking and learning; you gotta be able to ask, right? But at the same time as someone answering a lot you also need to balance somewhat; if youre advising someone and youre not sure if they will be able to do the wiring safely it may be better not to advice them to do it on their own. Personally i draw the line at series vrs parallel: if you dont know the difference i generally dont give advice as im not sure if my advice may put someone in danger of making a mess for themselves, then blaming me.

I think the issue here was confused somewhat by HLG advice: you never gave them full details on your driver so the gave a general answer based on the Sabre spec; the type of driver you use is somewhat special since it sorta lives in the soace between CV and CC drivers, and have a very wide voltage range. Always ask with full details, better yet with a photo of any driver label involved. Best of luck

I mean that you already knew you had a 56V driver and that the QBs were 54V. And you seemed to know the difference between parallel and series wiring. So you already knew that driver would work. But you asked anyway – OK, nothing wrong with that – but despite knowing it yourself, and getting answers that confirmed it, you still doubted it.

So anyway, Rocket is right – you are a good-natured person – and I'm sounding like a bit of a dick, so I will leave it there. But I dunno, maybe go back and read through the answers to some of those old driver threads because there's a lot of good info in there for you to learn from to help you make these decisions. I'm sorry for being impatient with you.
It’s cool not anyone else’s place to play to someone else pace your exactly right

so I got the splitters but would I also want to use these for my Diablo lamp? It’s powered by a hlg-320h-c2100 in series. I believe that’s the most efficient for that driver I was told?
