Driving cross country with a couple LBS. (Boston to Cali and back)

definitely dont do it and thats for anyone. think about the risk and if you can handle that amount of time definitly not worth it.

For ten pounds, the Grand Marquis seems like an ideal car. It's bulletproof; there is all sorts of volume that can be made into an airtight compartment, and at 85k it's still a young machine. Plus it's an "older people" car, unless it's no longer stock ...
Tell me more about how you'd fabricate the false-back compartment. Will it be sealed airtight, as in run it into a lake, drag it out of 100 feet of water, and the bud will still be dry? cn

In a grand marqui if I remember correct theres a nice big spot under the back seat too... Vaccuum seal twice, vasoline rub, vaccuum seal again.

You gonna compress it? Seems kind of a shame to go all that way and then mess up a good thing. But 10lb of bud is a pretty good sized package uncompressed.

probably not compressed just vaccum sealed twice or three times over and dont quote the 10lbs thats just what im aiming for. I got enough for 10 but dont want to have all my money tied up so my buddys connect who is also the grower, offered to front whatever I buy so say I get 5 for cash he'll give me.another 5 on consignment ( he already met me last time I was in cali) and hes a older guy too who grows under prop 215 who just has a over abundance of bud so I beleive he is legot. my buddy in sacramento has been gettin bud from him ever since hes been there

lmao funny you say that I was looking at that compartment yest. as a possibility. Could even put.one of those big.subwoofer boxes in the trunk so if anything they would check that but honestly, think about how many ppl drive to cali for legit reasons, the.guy im going with drove a moving truck there and back twice with no problems he could of had 100lbs loaded up

exactly I was raised like that, my pops used to rent a uhaul truck and go down to all the southern fireworks.shops load his truck up then sell em.out his trunk or garage when he would get home. remember prohibition is just a gift of revenue to organized crime!

You are right about the marquis being a perfect car its real comfortable but.ive had.many problems with it and anticipate more to come by the sounds of the engine and feel of the tranny shifting. The compartment wont be airtight or anything crazy like that I plan on cutting a nice rectangle shape into the big box behind my backseat. my buddy thats road tripping with me has a brother outside of san jose who has a welder we can use to tack a.piece of sheet metal back up once we get the bud in place. I have all the perfect connections out there its hard not to want to try this

sometimes too good to be true is just that. i've had 10lbs in my trunk a few times but only for a couple hundred miles, i wouldn't do it again unless there was an outrageous reward, especially from cali to new england? thats a looooooong time for me not to smoke weed. it can be done obviously, someone here told me to wrap it up in wallpaper, the vinyl kind, for shipping, but i just wrapped the hell out of mine and mailed it, twernt no 10 elbows tho, good luck

I have done this quite a bit from Texas. However, if you looked at me first glance most peoples first thought is retired military, conservative. The vehicle is a pick truck with construction equipment on it and a gangbox. You see hundreds of vehicles like that on the road. I take certain roads that I know will keep me away from the border and I NEVER EVER SMOKE IN ON OR NEAR THE VEHICLE. The weed is double sealed in the gangbox. I am also in my 40's and just have that ex military, "do not question me", look about me.
Although I personally have never been in the military I have a cover story ready for any one who asks about "my service".
Most importantly I have a GPS and CRUISE CONTROL, so I do not ever get lost and I NEVER speed. Most stupid moves while driving such as, running stop signs or swerving are made because people are lost. Last but not least travel only during the day stay in nice hotels and if you must smoke at night make sure you get a smoking room and light a cigarrette even if you don't smoke it. also put a towel under the door and shower after smoking in the morning and do not smoke near your clothes. Dogs can smell even a trace of drugs. So carry very little cash preferably new bills fresh from the bank. If you want to smuggle, and yes it is smuggling, from the west to the east it can be very profitable however, you must know what your doing or your DOOMED.

Crossing state lines = federal crime= federal time= not worth it...... !0 lbs could get you 10 +years....

If everyone had that attitude there would be no weed east of the Rocky's. If it weren't for people driving to Cali and Denver and back most people would have no weed these days. You acan't even get mexican weed around here and this is Texas. Just sayin'

Weed can be grown anywhere man. You act as if denver is the only city in colorado and you also act like cali and denver are the only places that produce weed.
OP got the gas tank filled up yet? I can't see how the profit is gonna pay off well enough to justify a trip like this. Bet the prices are up in cali too, you should maybe find a hook up in denver, or kansas even.
