I just got home and so far no sprouts.......... but I might just dig a little in the experimental soil, just to see if there's any grow

Just be patient bro, it may take a few days before you actually see your seedling sprout above the soil. The beginning stages seem super slow, especially if you look at your plants all the time like used to on my first grow. dont kill ur plants by being impatient and dont give any nutes till they are at least 3 weeks old. And only give like 1/4 strength nutes when you do then 1/2 does and so on. I am watching bro good luck!!

ok so now there are 4 cfls while I wait on my HPS lights to be here friday....
2 questions....
a) should I cut the plastic from around the 2 new lights, so I can move them around better?
b)will this be good till friday?
btw guys I just checked a cup and look in the middle!

Umm you may want to think about wrapping those cups in some black tape or somthing the clearer cups can hurt the root strucure. Roots dont like light. Can harm your plant. And the 2 new lights, dunno, what color spectrum are your cfls? 6500k? 2700k?

i am also at the same stage as you i have two plants that have just popped open..
i have them in little plant pots with a see through plastic cover over the top to trap in moisture looks ok so far jus have to wait
and my outher plants man click my link have a look bad shit happend today

Whoa whoa whoa, first thing you have to realize is ur plants need to different kind of lights for vegging and flowering. For vegging you need a more blue spectrum say 6500K and for flowering you need a more RED spectrum 2700k or better HPS which is around 2200K. So you need to go to walmart and get the right CFLS if you want to do this right, the ones in the GREEN BOX usually on the bottom shelf comes in a 4 or 5 pak are the 2700 K clfs, some of them say it on the side, but you can find all that info on the back of the box. just cuz it says 150 watt grow light or whatever it does not really mean its going to grow you shit, maybe just stretch the fuck outta your little babies, believe me bro i made these same mistakes.

I know......4got to mention that yeah I will be switching the cfl bulbs to 2700k for flowering my bad
and the HPS lights are the $20 from econolight that everybody likes around here

Sorry yes i did veg with HPS but MH is def better for vegging. I was just stating what your plants like more, a Blue and Red Spectrum is def better thn just 1 or the other. Cheers!
