Drooping & Curling Problem - Looking for Reccomendations

Hi ladies and gents,

Working on my first grow and it looks like I have a drooping and curling problem. From the photos it looks like a symptoms of both overwatering and heat stress. Am I correct in where I stand?

The seedling is only a week old and the root is barely trying to come through the bottom of the cup, so I don't think it's rootbound just yet as they're only 7 days old.

If my theory is correct about over watering and heat stress, I'm just going to let the soil completely dry out and water in smaller dosages.

FFOF, PH @ 6, LED SolarStorm 440w, Not using Nutes yet. RH ~Flux 30-40, PPM 190

Thanks in advance guys, looking towards your feedback

FFOF is your problem. Your soil is too hot for seedlings. That type of soil is more for older veg plants getting ready for the flowering stage. Just let the soil dry like you said. Never give seedling nutes as they wont need any for the first few weeks of their lives.

Hi, thanks for you reply. I've read online a lot of success stories with FFOF from the beginning, so this is what I went with. I have not given my seedlings nutes and don't plan to for another 2 weeks.

Get the temps in range if you can. You can add extra perlite to the mix to lighten it when you transplant, it will make it hard to over water. They look pretty healthy.

FFOF is too hot for some seedlings, others can take it, but seedling soil is for sure a better start. I think these will be fine. Your new watering strategy sounds good.
