Drooping leaves/stems but not UNDERWATERING

Third Grow, first time using 3x3 EBB and Flow on a SCROG setup

8 foot tall plants in coco 4 inch net pots, table is filled with expanded clay up to about 1/2 way to top of net pots

18/6 using two 400 w hps 24 inches from canopy

Squirell fan blowing from attic while the lights are on, temps from 71-78F humidity 40-50%

My stems are drooping once the lights have been on for a few hours, directly after darkness they seem to perk up.

I was flooding to 3/4 line of net pot three times a day, but thought this led to underwatering due to pictures I had seen on here... assuming that the coco was drying out because the constant airflow inbetween floodings. changed the frequency to flood every three hours, so 8 times a day. coco seems moist to the touch but these damn leaves are still drooping

PH unkown till meter comes in this weekend

That's too much! First of all, coco in ebb and flow can be messy. Make sure you're not getting that stuff in your pumps. If I were you I'd just switch to hydroton. No need for two different mediums. Okay on to the question, you have very healthy plants maybe even a bit overfed but your irrigation schedule needs tweaking. Don't run your pumps at night, the plants aren't using the water. You can try 5 times a day if you want? But my plants love 4 times a day in 18 hours as hydroton as my medium.

@ destillat Pumps seem to be clean no issues with that so far. these things are pretty well rooted, is it safe to shake off all that coco and move into hydroton? I will change the cycle to 3 times per day and see where that leaves me. I will update pics in a few days

@ asdewqasdfgh The leaves themselves are drooping just the stems. but I think yalll are right on the overwatering thing

I initially increased from feeding twice a day because they were drooping. but they are worse off now. I took some fans that were blowing directly on them off because I think the air was drying the exposed coco out quickly. Like I said I will make changes and update

dude drooping leaves can mean over watering. and from your description, you water too much!
That says it. I have coco perlite mix with 25% perlite. I feed twice a day (top feed) in flower and once a day in veg. If it is straight coco you may need to flood only once or twice a day.

What if leaves are drooping and curling under. I think my ph in water I was using was way too high maybe7.2. Are wet enough, should I water with lower ph water to bring down?. 1 week into flower. in 3 gal MG soil ( which I never want to use again) and 30% perlite, 10 % sand. 1St. grow with bag seed. 68 Watt soft wh., 6 23 watt soft white and 3 23 watt bright wh.

Might be over watering.....that's how mine looked when I got too excited and watered them too much. Let them dry out a little bit and give the soil a chance to breathe.

I think so too. Thanks for your help! poke a few air holes in side of pots to let a little air in.
