Droopy Outdoor in soil plant

My Lemon skunk seems to be droopy in the mornings. The water meter shows enough water in the soil so I know its not lack of water. (It is in the middle of watering schedule. Still has 3 more days before water). The leaves are a nice green with no signs of nutrient deficiency. The ph is 7.1. The plant is 6ft tall and just starting to show signs of flowering. This has been going on for a week and seems to only happen in the morning. By afternoon the plant looks great again. Any clues? I can't find anything explaining this behavior.

I'm 6'2 so you can see the hight. It is 1pm and still looks droopy. I don't think it's just waking up. Ill take another pic later today when she's standing tall to show the diff.

Any other ideas? It wasn't until about 4pm before the plant stood up and looked normal. None of my plants have ever shown this kind of behavior so I'm clueless.

I have noticed something similar in my outdoor plants. Usually it occurs during the off hours but sometimes in sun. I have a drain hole on my buckets so I can just tip it over a bit and the water drains right off. After that they just pick up again.

Stating that you are "between watering" and your moisture meter (proved to be worthless in my case) shows moist I'm wondering if your plants drain well? If they are in soil try poking a stick into the soil around them to make air holes.

This can be avoided by using porous rocks in the ground under the soil. Proper drainage is so important.

is 7.1 the soil pH or the water pH? the other thing is the medium , is it dirt or is it mixed with perlite or coco? I water similar plants about twice as often, every day and a half. is it getting light only in the morning? water it when its in the sun everyday for a half hour or so. I think its underwatering if its getting lots of light

Is it in a bucket or in the ground?
How often and how much do you water and at what time?

The plant is in Ground with self made soil, other plants in same soil with no issues. I water once a week unless we have temps above 100. The other plants, (cheese and amnesia) in the same mix are monsters while the skunk has this weird problem.

The soil is 7.1 while the water is neutral ph 7. The plant is in a 4ft hole thats 3ft deep filled with new soil. This problem has only started a few weeks ago. I let the soil dry out well before the last watering (water and calmag) and it didn't seem to make a difference. Color looks good, no nute deficiencies that I can see. I did notice that a few leaves have twisted/curled a little.

Any other info that you might need to help solve this please let me know and I'll do my best to provide.

I think she needs water...its hard to stick to a watering schedule as the plants need for it changes. That's a big plant to be watering only once a week.

She gets 5 gallons a week, I checked her this morning and her soil is still a little most so I know more water is not the solution.

It probably is telling you that she needs more water. I have similar issues with some of my outdoor girls....they are not happy unless they are getting a drink every day...I have a plant that size that does that...I just give it a half gallon everyday and her tits perk right up....but miss a day and she is the saddest fucken thing for miles around!! Increase her watering and see what she does!! I think she will be a happy happy girl!

Try lowering the PH on that Skunk just a bit....leaf curl or twist can be one of the classic signs of PH issue

Ok, First off thanks everyone for your input. I did nothing yet to try and correct this dropping, but this morning when I came out she looked beautiful. No drooping at all. Go figure. I'll just have to keep and eye on her I guess. Might be one of this things that I'll never figure out.

Some strains do that. Or I should say....if it is a hybreed cross, sometimes some phenos out of that cross behave exactly like what you are describing. I see it to but ultimately she will be ok...just keep a good eye on her.
