one of my plants is droopy and the edges are curled upwards

maybe not enough airation in the grow room, add a fan or two for that size light unit.
humidity should be a point of concern, helps with temps too,
Personaly I don't go with (EC/PPM etc etc etc), it's just how the boy's like to show off new toy's and extract your cash.
I go with a quater to 1/2 nute strength (changed weekly) @ nute central and folier feed in morning / plain water 6hrs l8r for the most part if doing hydro, never needed more then some ph papers, plant food and a air pump¬n¬plastic paint bucket (non recycled) as some leach plasticisers into your grow.
