Ok, so my plants are drooping quite a bit. I think I have over watered them and would like some knowledgable feedback as to what I should correct precisely. I am thinking I may need to reduce the amount I am giving them per feeding, as opposed to the frequency. They are in 1 gallon pots and I am giving them 1/2 gallons of solution per plant, about everything 3-4 days as needed. Here are the details and pics!!!

Lights
2-250 watt HPS + 205 watts 2700K CFL

Feeding Schdule
When the plants both are light in weight when lifting and when the soil has dried out sufficently.

Nutrient Solution fed, PER GALLON - FOX FARM
1 TBLS Big Bloom
2 TSP Grow Big
2 TSP Tiger Bloom
5/8 TSP Beastie Bloomz
1/3 TSP AN Carboload
1 DROP Superthrive

pH adjusted to 6.5 with the addition of pH UP.

Amount Fed, PER PLANT - 1 Gallon Containers
1/2 gallon

AGE
28 days into flower. Total age of approx. 53 days.

Temp/RH
67F Morning, 79F MAX at the end of 12/12
RH varies from 45% to 49%.

Soil
FoxFarm Ocean Forest cut at a 2:1 ratio with Light Warrior.
1 TBLS of dolamite lime per gallon.
1 TBLS Root Zone per gallon.
Current pH of 6.2-6.5, depending on the plant.

I am a bit confused though. If you will notice, two plants show no drooping, whereas the other four do.

Of the two that are unaffected, one is the most robust grower of the 6, whilst the other is the LEAST vigorous. So I am very confused. There is NO sign of nute burn and I have been very careful about slowly increasing the nutes over time.

Given that I am watering at a ratio of 1:2 in terms of the amount per plant in relation to its container size, is this the problem? Could I have given them root rot? How serious might the problem be?

How much solution should they get per watering in 1 gallon containers?

THANKS AND REP+ TO KNOWLEDGABLE HELPERS, GUARENTEED :bigjoint:

try giving them a little over half of what you're giving them now. will probably see a noticable difference. maybe keep it slightly cooler than 79.

That's what my gut says. I am looking for a precise measurement as to how much to give them though...Probably impossible....Maybe a guilding light? Seems SO SUBJECTIVE!!

Thanks though, let's see if the concensus agrees.

yes, it mostly depends on your medium, grow temperatures, etc.

if your soil dries quickly after one watering period or if it is fairly dry by the next day, then it is probably safe to shoot in the ballpark of 150-250ml per watering of each plant, then dry spell.

how much soil are you working with? and then how is your drainage? if you have 3 gallons of soil and good drainage, you can shoot for 200-250 ml.

if you have over 3 gallons of soil and inferior or slower drainage than less is always best, as it takes longer for deep soil to dry out.

Most likely to be a watering issue plants only need a max of two waters a week water and wet the plants through then let the top 2/3 ince dry the repeat the process.i would also advise anyone to flush there plants at least 2 times during veg and 3 times during flowering salt can become a issue this can also cause the plants to not look happy.

I agree with the overwatering analysis. from the pics, the plants look very healthy and happy besides the overwatering. I would be concerned however that after a month of flowering, there are not more pistals and bud sites, however that can be attributed to their young age put into flowering.
The only thing I can say is whatever you are doing is working besides cutting back the water amounts by a 1/3rd. most no one will recomend feeding with every water but if it is working for you and I cant see any deficiencs or burning, than I would stay stick with it. the only thing I can see tha may or may not be a concern is the yellowness of the new growth starting at the petiole and working out towards leaf tip. could be just is new growth and new growth always looks like that, or a sympton of overwatering. I would keep my eye on it as it is also a sign of an Fe deficiency but dont think so.
always check for light leaks couple times a week.

Well they are in 1 gallon pots, so about 1 gallon of soil per plant. 250 ml for these just seems like nothing to me though...they would suck that up without a DROP of run off. The soil has excellent drainage, it is Ocean Forest cut with Light Warrior.

Yeah I have given them a pure water flush a few times throughout veg and flower.

Yeah I agree, usually I wouldn't feed with every watering. I only use the solubles in between though. That is, I only use the Open Sesame/Beastie Bloomz/Cha Ching (whichever I am on in the sequence) and plain water. I only use the liquid ferts, i.e. tiger bloom, etc, every other watering.

I agree though, I am going to reduce from 1/2 gallon per plant to 1/3 gallon per plant and see how they do. They handle the nutes just fine though, you are right. No signs of burns or anything. In fact, when they need to be watered the stems start to slow a slight K def (i think) by purpleling up a bit.

I will post some new pics in a few days. I have TONS of budsites going now. I crushed the stalks in two/three places per plant also to slow their vertical growth and increase the strength of the stems/allow more uptake of nutes and such. It's time to water tomorrow, so we will see if they droop again real bad once the lights go out like before, with less watering. Thanks for the help!

Well here is the update. I havent gotten too much interest in this thread, but I thought for those of you who tried and succeeded to help me before might want to see how things were progressing!

I have titled the .jpg as to what the pic is of! I am now watering with about 40oz of water per plant about every three or so days. No big droop as before!
