I just joined this site and its my first time growing. I have about 5 plants that are about 2 weeks old since sprouting. I just transfered them over from pods to bigger pots and a few of them seems to not want to stand, but when the light is on it gets a little bit stiffer. Any solutions to why this is happening, i have a fan running on the plants to strengthen the stems aswell. I was also curious is to how often and how much to water each plant a day, yes there are holes in the bottom to filtrate the water. If any tips on to what i can do to keep my plants going would be appreciated
Post back. Im also on a 16 light 8 dark cycle as of now.

pictures would also help determine the cause. Could just be not enough water.
What size pots, what type soil, are you watering too far away from the transplanted roots so that the water is bypassing the compressed portion of soil that was your first pot and traveling only through the new loose soil around your plants?
I water at approx 200 ml per day when they are still small. Flushing the entire media occationally with pH adjusted RO water.

To be honest just a desk lamp because my fluorescents broke. the lamp pushes 75 watts surprisingly, and i figured i should just bump up to the sodium bulb soon but was not sure if it was a 100% necessary yet. some of the plants are still standing on their own but for the most part some seem to be getting week.

Compact Floro? or incandecent? Even if is CFL you need more than 1. If its incandencent/halogen you need to do some reading and Get some useful lights over them.
If you cant get a light right away take them outside today even if for only a few hours. They will perk up and probably suprise you.

Ive been doing alot of reading before i started this project, ive been looking through the site and noticed alot of kids are going in blind and things arent working out for them at all, i planned on getting a sodium bulb but wasnt sure if it was too early or not, any suggestions? and im bringing them outside as we speak since its 90 and sunny as hell

sodium bulb? Also MG soil is not the best soil to grow in. Yea man you need to read some more seems like you have gotten way ahead of yourself.....

I herd MG wasnt the best but its all i could get my hands on at the time any soil u would recommend.. Because regardless i could always start over there not in bad shape at all im just throwing words out there because I want this to work, and im getting worried about the drooping during the dark period. I just wasnt sure when to switch to a stronger light, which is why i came to the Newbie section hoping u guys could help me out and i can keep posting pictures and what not as they keep growing.

Yea if you only have access to large "department" style store (ex home depot) like me than the best you can really do is go pick up some scotts soil and some perilite and do about a 2/3 to 1/3 mix. Scotts has less nutes that MG and has a better ph. MG is just loaded with too many nutes that can burn yor seedlings and the ph is all wrong for MJ. Even better than that IMO is a 1/3 mix of perilite, vermiculite, and peat moss all bought from the beast. Thats what I still use because I dont like to pay shipping for internet sites to get the soil to me.

Ive flushed the soil once before transplanting because ive been told several times they load the soild with too many nutes but there out in the sun now and no extra support is needed at the time. If i decide to grow in new soil with new plants, so i dont shock these, ill deff use the mix u recommended.

slight drooping at night is normal.
FoxFarm potting soil.
Yes get the light, but a 100W HPS bulb will not get you through you whole grow sufficiently.
Do not add any nutes for a few more weeks. The soil should contain enough already.

i figured upgrading to the one 100 HPs wud b fine for now just didnt know when ill kno i need more then one

Ill keep u posted thanks for the help, speaking of bein a newbie one other thing haha. They have only been in dark for 3 hours and since they seemed to be losing strength i took the advice from above^ and put them outside. Will that b harmful? or just give them their dark period tonight will b ok?

No it wont be harmful. Its fine to put the babies outside for a little while just not too long depending on the weather and what not because the temp/humidty change can hurt little seedlings like that.

may i suggest adding more soil, so the plants are supported better, the fist pic .. you could add alot of soil still... think that would help alot
