droopy/sagging plants in ebb and flow

i'm a little concerned about my plants that I have going here because they are sagging and they don't look very healthy. they are about three weeks from seed. I have been using full strength GH nutes and flooding 15 minutes every 4 hours. I was previously flooding for 20 minutes every 3 hours.

my one concern is that the roots of the plants have nowhere to go because once they grow out of the bottom of the netpots, the light hits them and this is stunting growth.

The temperature is around 75F and humidity is low.

Before I add the nutrients, I mix in 40 ml of 29% h2o2, which is less than the recommended dosage for a 20 gallon res.

Also, after adding a fresh batch of nutrients, the water is a nice, dark brown color, but within a day it turns to a light yellow color although the PPM still reads 1300 - 1400. The pH is at 5.8.

Also, I suppose I should add that I'm growing Big Buddha Blue Cheese, which is a heavily indica strain and is very bushy.

Please help. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Cut those levels in half and dial in a proper flood schedule to keep your plants hydrated (can't help with that as I'm in rockwool).

I don't know much about this, but they look pretty green to me. Maybe they are a little rich on the N?

need to dial in flood cycles...they looked almost water logged

other than that, filling the bin with some of those pebble things you're using for media aught to solve the roots getting light.
just screen your drain or you are going fishing later.

Since you have so few responses I'll throw my 2 cents in again. I'm pretty sure they have too much N. They are greener than they should be, are kinda curling down, and it sounds like you might be flooding too often. I'm not an expert on flooding schedules, so I would wait for someone else to chime in on that. For now you might want to reduce the ppm of your nute solution though.

I'd agree with the previous posts they look a little over-watered and maybe dial back the nutes.

Other than that they look good. Maybe check the actual room/res. temps. and make sure they aren't getting too hot/cold. =)

Didn't even realize it. I'm growing this same exact strain, and one of mine is doing the same thing. Maybe they are a little sensitive to higher nutes? I'm going to lower my veg nutes too. I'm in soil though...

i have the same system (whole botanicare setup 2x2) and i can tell you the res can get quite HOT my water usually runs a little hotter than my room temps for some reason i use flora nova nutes and i use h202 at 50 ml for my 20 gal res (little stronger than rec dose) ph is always 5.8 now i can tell you my water does turn to a lighter piss color after a few days from the h202 never had a prob with the nute mix looking that way and effecting my plants. i would use some different pots for the root problem this is what i use. now i would also back the nutes WAY down they still look young i would go 750-850 ppm and never go over 1000 ever you will see faster growth when you back them down trust me. now for the watering schedule mine runs every 4 hours for 30 min around the clock my lights stay at 24/0 (in veg) and i have never had a over watering prob with that schedule. one question is how are you checking ph if you are using the liquid drops the water color could fool you as my water is very dark and can mess with the end resulting color of the water with the dye in it.

o and one more thing i put 2 large stones in the res with a hydrofarm 02 pump in conjunction with the h202 to combat the algae from high temps and its been working great water stays clean.

no much nutes and looks to be over watered, drop your ppms to 600
1300 is way to high

hey everyone. thanks for the replies it has really helped. I will try lowering the nutes see how they react. also, I have extremely hard water here where I live (300 ppm). does this mean I should still try for a ppm level in the 600-800 range? Or should I account for the hard water and add 300 to these numbers?
