Droopy, yellow leafs... need help, w/pics

This started about 3 days ago and seems to be getting worse. Ph is about 6.8. I water about every other day. I make sure the soil is dry when i stick my finger in before I water. MG 24/8/6 every other watering. I do have a small fan blowing on them when the lights are on 18/6

this is my first grow. any help will be appreciated.

well I am no pro however have experienced a few disasters, my view is that these pics look overwatered. Stop watering til they perk up abit, maybe churn the top to help release some stored up moisture.. but I am no expert.

Yeah, that's one of the things that I have tried not to do (over water) because that's one of the first things that i read in the faq. When I do water, the dirt looks very dry. I stick my finger about 1.5 inches down into the dirt, and it's dry. It sounds like you may have experienced this as well, so i will definetley try that. I just watered them yesterday so i will wait about 3 days????

yea dont give them water for 3 days if thy still look a lil droop and not getting better post new pics but i think they will be fine make it 4 days if u want but just keep posting.

stop watering so muuuuuch! haha especially when they are so young, and dont feed them nutrients either for the first 1-2 weeks

Edit: unless you have seedling nutrient

Those plants look small for a month old. Any idea on the strain? indica or sativa? Also, how much light do you have on them? Sometimes yellow leaves are a sign of a low light environment. Heres a picture of my plant at 3 weeks...

I planted on January 16th. I treat my plants like babies. Good light, good water, good soil...then just leave it in gods hands. I just started flowering this one last night, lookin for a good bushy grow.

Overwatering will slow growth. Learned that the hard way.

I grow hydro - but if I were using soil i would pick up one of those water meters at the grow store ot garden center.

No idea on the strain. It was good bag seed.

I have (4) four foot florescent lights above the plants. 2 are soft white and 2 are day light. I have (1) 3 foot florescent cool white running down the middle between the 2 rows of plants that I turn on occasionally for extra light.

Yeah, yours looks alot better than mine......

Yes, I think i will get a meter. I'm sure i could find it in past posts, but if you would be so kind to let me know what this meter should read, that would be great.

Plant Moisture Meter

I found this link when I googled - plant moisture meter.

This meter shows the moisture content in the soil. They can be found at any grow store or home improvement store.

Good luck with your grow - the first time around is tough for everyone so try not to get tooo discouraged.

Soft white and gay light???? what kind of lights are u using u should use blue spectrum bulbs or even 2 red and 2 blue . I have a T5 4ft florescent Fixture with 4 blue spectrum grow lights its a great light and it does not get hot at all. well a little bit.:mrgreen: I realy wana throw in some LED lights in there never tried them they sound good do

Greenfarmer my brother no no no lowes bad first of all bad prices lol jk but realy u want to go to ur closest hydroponic store this place u will love my friend but just never say the M word. Also any questions u may have ask them but just never say the word of what u are grow shhhhh. u can also buy the RIGHT grow lights there normal lights will work sort of but they are realy bad. like i said go to the store and buy some good light that ur plant will like and i beat u they will grow so much better. my plants just sprouted under my T5 4fter and they love the blue spectrum i can tell they look good for there age.:blsmoke: post new pics then u do get better lights.

Here is a link for the cfl bulbs I am using. I built two 6-bulb light strips using inexpensive plastic sockets screwed to 3 foot boards.

They kick butt for veg.

Can anyone tell me if they will work for flowering? I am currently using a 600 watt hps light and would like to add more light.

Specs are : 1600 lumens output, daylight 6500K, cfl 26 watt (100 watt equivalent),
