Droopy young plants....???

I transplant 21 cuttings into pots of clay pebbles
and 2 into 6" blocks of rockwool

I feed them with a Wilma Hydro system
reservoir has EC0.7/pH 5.7 solution
(Canna Aqua Vega A & B, Cannazym, Canna Rhizotonic)

They go under a 600w MH for 18/6
in a space 4 x 4ft
With the lights on Temps stay 74 to 80
and RH between 55% and 70%
During lights off Temps drop to a low of 62.

At 5.30pm 2 of the small plants were VERY DROOPY!
They were directly under the centre of the light
so I moved them to the edge of the 'footprint'.
I didn't want to risk making an overfeed worse
so I gave pure water to make sure that dehydration wasn't the problem.

2 hours later one of the plants had recovered so well that I had to concentrate to even remember which one she was
and the other was 80% recovered.
But another one that was under the centre of the light had started to droop a tiny bit
(she looked 'tired').
I gave her pure water.

An hour later 2 were completely recovered and the 3rd was back to almost full health.

WHAT ARE THE CAUSES OF DROOPING LEAVES?
The worst affected of the 3 plants was almost lying down!

Is it likely that they had simply dried out a little too much???

All opinions welcome
(unless they're deliberately stupid).

Cuttings don't need alot of light until the cutting gets roots and becomes a clone.
They don't need any food except a rooting solution until the cuttings gets roots.

Good Luck on Your Grow.

The cuttings were well rooted, and hardened off, before I took them from the propagator
and put them in pots.
I actually used the 600w MH from the first hour after they were taken from the donors....
but I had it about 5ft above the prop
(I was let down on an ebay order for a 150wCFL by a drunken Glaswegian amateur fraudster....
It took 22 days to get my refund and, by that time, there was no need for the CFL).

Sorry if my original post was ambiguous.

I'm fairly sure the problem was caused by dehydration.
