Dropas Neverending Journey, A Few Strains At A Time.

Nice bro. The look good. Maybe a little less on the nute strength for the pineapple, looks like the edges are spiking a bit. And do you know what causes that claw action like the buku is showing? I get that probably once a grow... always trips me out.

And I don't mean to be all critical... just trying to help. The look great! The internode spacing on the buku looks ridiculously tight. Nice.

Hope your weekend was enjoyable.

No worries bro, that's what we're here for, to help one another out when we see something that's not quite right. I upped the nutes a couple of weeks ago, 1 ml per gallon to see what they could take. The next feed I'll knock it down a notch. Not to sure on the buku because she's been showing the leaf claw most of the way through. Personally I just think she's a freak of nature with those monster leaves.

The claw can be caused by over watering or under watering but I've been watering my girls about once every 3 days just till I see some runoff and I don't water until the pot feels less than half the weight just after a good feed.

Here's an article that I found a while ago that can explain the claw in more detail than I can at this time. I thought it was a pretty good read so I saved it.

Plants are looking great Dropa.....can't wait to see them in a month. Lots of buds.....Good info on clawing leaves. Clawing can also be a sign of a plant being root bound. Not sure if a plant can get root bound in a air pot like that.

Keep up the great work.

Peace

Clawing can also be a sign of too much nitrogen.

Airpots shouldnt get rootbound.

Clones are looking good, the yellowing on the bottom fans is a sign that the plant is drawing nitrogen out of them, and it is gonna start spitting out roots soon. I say you seem them coming out of the cubes in 2 days.

After looking through the pics of the pineapples and the kushage, i really think the BUKU doesnt need as much N, her clawing IMHO is def due to too much N.

Yeah I'm gonna dial it down a notch on the PE and kushage and give the buku straight water on the next watering or two and see if that helps.

Thanks for the input guys. :peace:

Flush them with water at 5.8 ph....it will help them wicker out the nutes. When I grow in soil I flushed my plants like that every feeding. It's called Making It Rain by riddleme.

how are things dropa? your girls are getting so enormous.I just LOVe the sativa long leaves on your pineapple. lovely. Buku is so indica.. lovely.. those leaves are so huge!
i also have a pineapple , but chunk not express. her leaves are also so sativa, so pretty.. i got this one pheno that just so sativa i cant believe it. its kinda special to me because i found the seed in a bud i bought at Barneys coffeeshop in amsterdam on my trip in sept.
going to have to leave her in the tent prob. longer because of that. i had a problem getting my superlemonhaze sativa dominant to really get mature 12/12 from seed. I hope thats not the case with this pineapple chunk.
I hope your clones are doing well and you had a really great Thanksgiving .
take care

Pineapple is looking real good and starting to fill out. Buku is looking better since I started giving her plain water. It's supposed to be an early finisher, 7 to 8 week strain but it's not producing that well at the moment. The Kushage I'm a little worried about. She's looking good and really filling out but the leaves are starting to yellow at the top. The clones are doing good and it looks like all of em are gonna make it, 8 of 15 showing roots. I'll try to get some pics up soon. Been kinda busy these past couple of days and I haven't had time to get caught up on the boards.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

Peace.

Cant wait to see some pics...Hopefully the Kushage pulls through and gets better, do you have any idea why??? I hope that the Buku didnt get too much "N" and throw her system out of whack. I did that one time before, giving to much "N" in the middle of flowering and it threw my plant's system out of whack.

I say that cause I remember you mentioning the clawing of the leaves. I could be completely wrong cause I am high!!!!

What's up guys and gals? It's time for another update. The last feeding I gave all three strains straight pH ed water. The pineapple express is doing real good, can't find a problem with it. Buds are starting to take shape and frosting up nicely.

The Kushage (since the watering) is starting to yellow on the top portion of the plant only. I took a few shots of the leaves and they look kinda splotchy but it's kind of hard to tell from the pics. I'm no expert but I'm thinking I need to start feeding her N asap. Thoughts?

Buku hmm what can I say, she's short and stout with big azz curling leaves. Definitely went over board with the grow nutes. I'll be feeding her straight water for the next week. There's a quite a few bud sites but they're covered by the canopy. :-(

I've never grown more than one strain at a time until now. I'm gonna have to start keeping a closer eye on these girls and feed them all a little differently. The PE is fine, the Kushage wants more and the buku needs less. Off to mix more nutes.

I'll post some clone shots tomorrow.

Nah I don't think you wrong at all and your 100% spot on. She was growing like that from the beginning though. I thought those mad curling ones under the canopy was doing that because of the bigger leaves blocking out all the light. Once it started happening on top is when I took notice. Well I think it was jig or maybe it was Bill that pointed that out to me. I don't know this Buku is a peculiar one for sure.

I think the Buku will be fine Dropa, its budding and getting frosty. Maybe she is a picky eater, she is alittle darker than you want but she will be fine in a week or so. All your plants look fab Dropa, your doing great work!!! That Pineapple is insane and the Kushage looks great too like a Xmas Tree of Bud..

I agree with BKB that the BUKU will be just fine. My plants do that shit all the time and I end up with pretty buds no one complains about. The Kushage leaves I would be a little more concerned with. Not saying you should freak about it... just keep an eye. I don't know what the problem is, maybe N like you said??? But the buku will be fine.

They look great through. Really nice looking ladies. You must be happy with your room so far. I know I would be.

Class work there Dropa
