So as I was moving my plant just outta the way to clean the area quick wipe down, I flippin dropped it head first on the floor. luckily only a few bottom branches broke off the main stem is still fully intact. I quickly transplanted plant to a larger 3 gal (from 2 gal) pot with fresh fox farms OPM 70% Perlite 30%. Im worried plant will extremely be stressed from this forced transplant or even in shock.. Happened minutes ago so no results yet. Anyone ever have anything like this happen?? More details... Plant is on day 42 flowering (bubba kush) and about 18".. since it dove head first all of the fan leaves and colas/buds are covered in soil. How bad can this hurt the plant? if at all? Also plant was in miracle gro soil whole life until this incident all I had was the fox farms so now its in a fox farms OPM (original planting mix)/Miracle grow pottting soil/perlite medium... would this add to the stress. How should I care for it... just hoping to get advice before I make the wrong decision and do something to harm this beautiful plant even more. This is the first plant Ive ever grown and just wanted to get it right... Already got everything set up for next grow. Any thoughts/opinions/advice/criticism welcome I wouldnt be where I am without RIU and its members, thanks in advance. :joint:

Thanks guys... Just the couple bottom 3 leaves broke off the first node... no nutes and light on the watering... I've only sprayed the plant trying to get as much dirt off as possible. Didnt work as well as I had hoped. Heres couple pics.. Any ideas on how I could get this dirt off?? Or am I gonna be forced to literally smoke dirt weed?

well just so you feel better, i was transplanting cuz i used the wrong size for flowering, since they were only flowering 3 weeks the roots were not fully al through the container and when i went to drop it in to the new container i broke the root ball in half, it was fine a day and 1/2 then leaves started to droop and today morning i found an extra crispy lady in the grow box :(

damn sry to hear mugan... That's exactly what I dont want to happen... luckily when I dropped it the plant came completely out of the pot and the root ball remained fully intact, strong lady. It's been about 7 hours since transplant and all seems well, just dirty. So devastating.

That really sucks about the dirt on the buds, I don't see you being able to get that off. Maybe just try to spray when you can to knock some of it off.

I dropped one yesterday and freaked out, it didn't fall out of the pot or break anything off, just scared the shit out of me luckily. It was also in veg stage, so no problem with buds or anything... I'd be heart broken if that was my only plant that that happened. Sorry man :(

Thanks kizzz... I just hope its not a lost cause. I have 7 more seeds (5 diff strains) ready to plant after this one is harvested. And just gonna veg those out and keep em as mothers and just play with clones but thats weeks away. Just gonna let nature do its thing and hopefully she lives and I can get some of that god damn dirt off

To be honest I'd go ahead and start your seeds. If this is your only plant I'm sure you've got the space/capacity for a few seedlings, I'd go ahead and start them because it takes longer for them to get going then you'd think. And the time it'll take you to be able to take clones, and then for those clones to grow. You're looking at a long time. The sooner, the better. Just trying to help ya out though.

Thanks I was thinking about doing that. Just puttin it off to see how the one came out... but as far as I can tell growing beautifully all has gone well until my dumb ass dropped her. Either way Im throwing my seeds in some paper towel and gonna germ them now. Thx for the motavation kizzz Ill get those started and start a journal or something... In the meantime any ideas to get the dirt off still appreciated. Thx everyone

I did that with one of my plants. Luckly I had just made up a fresh batch of willow water and gave it a nice watering with that. about a week later the plant started growing again, bigger and stronger than it was before the accident. Willow water is great for developing bigger and strong roots, it also promotes growth so if you damage your roots you can use willow water you help it bounce back.

Never heard that method... Just did a quick search on the stuff. Seems very promising looks like its mainly used for cuttings, but still a root hormone nonetheless. Thanks for the advice gonna make a batch and give it a shot myself. :peace:

I always keep a batch of it in my fridge. Never know when your gonna need it. I've also noticed it helps germ seeds fast. I popped some seeds into MF Seed Starter, watered it with the willow water and the next morning they had all broken the soil.

From what I've read it's good for a couple months in the fridge. You just get green fresh growths, cut them up, put them in a mason jar, pour almost boiling water (enough to cover the cut up growths), put the lid on and wait for it to cool, then you strain the plant material out and put it in the fridge until you need it.
