good idea to put the little ones in a white place like yours. i am also new at growing and i have similer problem with english plants look ok for me. good luck.
I putted them in that bucket to be more protected by weather,wind,rains etc -one of my plants had bad experience with wind.It broke the stem.I recovered the stem but lost the plant anyway it was male.
