hi all,

I have 3 plants in my tent, one seems to be suffering from dry brittle leaves. the tent itself sit around 50-60% rh and the temp ranges from 18c lights off to 28c lights on. my thermometer records temps and I have seen some spikes around 15c to 32 c but these aren't for long periods. I am currently feeding them terra flora each plant gets 3ml in 1 litre of water every 3 days i beleive these are the advised amounts. I can provide more info and pictures if needed any help will be greatly appreciated.:wall:

Nitrogen won't cause brittle leaves.. they yellow go limp and feel like thin fabric

Blotchy patches are some funk though I've never seen that, they're like white?
I see signs if too high ph. Might just be swinging alot

Definitely too hot in there don't go over 80 or 27(?)Celsius
And try to put up some pics of the lower most effected leaves...I'm no expert in these matters though but I try

IMG_1786[1].jpgIMG_1785[1].jpgIMG_1784[1].jpgIMG_1783[1].jpgive taken these pics with the flash off as it doesn't properly show discoloration with it on. these are probably the worst effected areas. I use tap water for my plants. In terms of the temp swing i find it hard to combat this as where i stay is particularly cold this time of year. however i am getting more fans this week which should combat the higher temperatures along with cranking up the extraction fan speed.

Check the PH. I had very dry brittle leaves minus the splotches, despite pouring in PH'd water. I counter my high PH soil with high acidic water, under PH 5. Even after doing that my PH runoff is still over 7.

Possibly just a pH flucuation. Seen that on my small plants when I randomly give then straight water from the tap when I'm lazy and in a hurry.

Cool I used to keep fish and there was a neutralising drops you out into tap water to remove the chlorine and even out the ph would u suggest using that and possibly flushing ?
