Hey guys I remember there was a thread I'm not sure if it was on this forum or another one but there was a list that showed you how to replicate a lot of the common bottled nutrients on the market using dry fertilizer. I can't find that thread so if anybody knows what I'm talking about if you could please share the link.
The bottle I'm trying to copy is mother plant nutrient part a. It says the ingredients are calcium nitrate and iron dpta. Its 2% total nitrogen with 1.8% nitrate nitrogen and 0.2 ammoniacal nitrogen. 3.2% calcium and 0.066 % iron dpta.
My first question is are there any other types of iron that would be better than that? And if not then how many grams of calcium nitrate and iron dpta would I use per gallon of water?
Also if you recommend making it stronger let's say twice as strong so that I can use half the dosage I'm okay with that just keep in mind that I will be mixing it myself so I don't want to have any issues with pushing it to the brink of solubility
Thanks a lot
