Dry fertilizers in Canada

I've been mixing nutes for many years, lots of fun , always tweeking ratio's on test grows to see what works best for me , but anyhow have you looked into the Veg Bloom line of stuff, I know a commercial grower that really likes it , and think there is only one place in canada carrying it ( check could be wrong ) but their on the east coast. you might have a issue getting the +life over the boarder though.

Yah I have a supplier that is carrying it now, but haven't actually bough any yet. Just checked price list. shit that's some expensive salts lol

Only going on price as I can't knock the product as I've never used it or sold it but 5LB of fertilizer for $126 retail is a bit much. At that point I think I'd rather go with Mega Crop or Plant Pro MJ. Funny how fertilizers made by large farm companies cost 1/+ the price of fertilizers designed by companies for the illegal/legal weed market.

LOL yeah thats a bit much, I never priced it out or used it, just know of it being used in some large commercial sites with very good success. Question did you see what the dilution rates look like, Maybe the 5lbs may last a long time, 3 or 4 grow maybe , I don't know , but if it stretches out that maybe not bad in the end. Question what do you sell for microbes/fungi stuff ?
 
Ok from what I just seen it looks like 5g a gallon of base mix the whole way through. so as reference , 90 day total grow , 5g once a day thats like 5 grows for 130 bucks, thats off the top of my head so check my math lol, so depending on your grow style and how long they are, that may not be bad.

I went and ordered a small order of the dirty and soft water ones and the additives. Will see how it goes. I'd rather specialing in powders as its way cheaper on shipping, customer doesn't have to pay for water and nigher profits even with free shipping options..

Their website has fuck all for info really and a few 404 errors. Found a feed chart https://hydroponic-research.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/FeedingSchedule2020_2.pdf

For microbials. Miicrobial Max which is smilar to Mammoth P (don't quote me on it lol) There's Grotek https://grotek.com/products/synergy and https://grotek.com/products/biofuse also http://elite91.com/product/professional-mycorrhizal-inoculant/ Also can get this stuff. Mykes been around for ages http://www.mykepro.com/home.aspx

Now that we are a year and what ever into legal growing, how is the common guy making out? Happy and doing well? Giving up already? Getting more savvy at it?
Just wondering how all the newbies are getting along at growing inside. I could see a lot of folks saying "fuck this" I'm just buying some as it's way less trouble. These type of things

Hey man I hope it does good for you, Like I said never used it and have nothing to do with the company, But I have been in the nute stuff for a long time, and what I'm hearing from the pro's is its top notch, All you guys on here buying bottles of stuff or even other powder should take a look at this if I wasn't mixing my own it would be my go to without question. but yes their website sucks.

Pretty much 0 change for me with small guys buying equipment to grow the 4 plants. When i started in a hydro store in 2003 there was about 100x+ more people growing 1-2 lights than there has been since around 2009. The hydro usage inspections killed the 1-6 light market. It was pretty brutal at that time.

After legalization I saw about a 1/3 of my customers that didn't blow their money over the years and save it quit growing and retired. Sold their homes here and moved to Kelowna area. guys in their 60's

There is more outdoor for sure for personal. Also I'm a bad sales man. People come in and want to grow a few LB and find out its gonna be $1500+ and four months or so of growing and are like WTF? I have to water every few days for 4 months? lol and I just don't want to con them into spending all that money lol

Not bad, I did order some basic sizes to stock in shop. Also just talking with my wholesaler to see if I can get a few sample kits to do a give away and get people testing it :) They seem receptive to the idea so...

They need WAY more info on their site, proper info not AN style 2000 word buzz word salad.

Cool man, if you need a tested let me know, I'd give you all my feed back, I'd love to compare it to what I do. I could actually compare it to a couple different Nutrients.

Cost is higher this time than before probably $110 and limit one 10kg at a time. If it goes fast enough I'll order another 1/2 skid as a full skid is a bit much $ to tied up atm. I get lots of 1-3kg sales vs wholebags online so like to keep the small guys going.

I bet it's costly to ship? What's it cost to send to Ontario area approx? How's it sell for you? What are your most popular nutes?
 
Actually the shipping/customs was cheap they do it all. I sold about 80 bags in 8? months and quite a few 1-3 kg in the last 4 months. Gh still sells the most If the 1/2 skid goes fast I'll get a full skid as bring the price down quite a bit

I just meant fert has come a long way since then. The customers that think 10-52-10 is what to use for bud being a little crazy. What's the ratio on that plant prod mj? Does it still have the blue dye?
