So I have been drying my harvest and my idiot self forgot to get airflow going. Today I walked into the dark room they are hanging it (which may have got sun through a peak in a window)

anyway it smells musty but very faint , like old shoes maybe but not crazy strong .
What can I do to stop the growth if it is mold?

See pics (I don’t think the white substance is mold it looks like thc crystals . Is this even mold?

thanks so much! 5BEF3A59-FFBE-4250-95CF-47180E1A1ED2.jpeg4156E24C-D815-483D-9946-2F40190A3548.jpegE5EBA047-41AE-4CFF-9519-D038D9343CA5.jpeg5BEF3A59-FFBE-4250-95CF-47180E1A1ED2.jpeg4156E24C-D815-483D-9946-2F40190A3548.jpegE5EBA047-41AE-4CFF-9519-D038D9343CA5.jpeg5BEF3A59-FFBE-4250-95CF-47180E1A1ED2.jpeg4156E24C-D815-483D-9946-2F40190A3548.jpegE5EBA047-41AE-4CFF-9519-D038D9343CA5.jpeg5BEF3A59-FFBE-4250-95CF-47180E1A1ED2.jpeg

are you using a small circulating fan in your dry room?

You can gently spray h2o2 to kill any mold without harming the buds

@Hust17 how can you tell?
He just wants to take your stash, nothing you can do now if you have fixed the vent problem and you have control of humidity but sit back and wait to see if mold or mildew forms or bathe them in a H2o2 bath but the latter is going to hurt the quality as it destroys trichomes.

@JavaCo thanks, and yeah I figured it was sarcastic....I just bought some small humidity meters to place in the jars , do you know the optimal humidity? I do not know how to calibrate these, but as of now in the jars (after a 1.5 hang dry in the dark) is 35% and 74 F

62% humidity is what you want to cure weed at. 35% is a bit low You want to hang it upside down in a room about 50% humidity till the branches snap. Going to be ready for jars in 2 or 3 days @ 35% and will be easy to get too dry @ that humidity better watch it close.

@JavaCo do those 62% boveda lacks raise the humity in the jars? They are being shipped but until then to raise the humity with out causing mold, any ideas?
