Not to beat a dead horse, but how is adding an extra step make using olive oil better?
Just grab one of these bad mamajammers, fill it with an OZ of iso and call it good.

At 45 percent humidity your buds are garbage and completely ruined anything under 55 is way to low anything above 62 to high
I like 58 the best ............Also always calibrate your hydrometer

I would say calling buds garbage and completely ruined at 45% humidity a bit of an exaggeration.
I would agree with 45% bring too low and would dry out too fast. Experienced it myself with my first ever harvest unfortunately. Worst part was... I thought 45% was doing a good job! My humidity was all the way down to 20% before a humdifier.Still had a great smoke, just too dry and lacked the smell.
Found using a spare bathroom retains the humdity and temperature well. Place a humidifier in the far corner and try for 60% as best as you can. I've seen mine stay at 70%(overnight) and never had am issue with mold. My humidity would fluctuate between 50-70%. Depending on how much I could check on the room.
Use mason jars for a cure. The half gallons do great for larger quanities plus they just look awesome full of buds! And recently even added 62% humidipaks and highly reccomend them.

The Humidipaks work great and saved me from a too quickly dried last harvest, and I still felt like it came out top top.

Drying can be done at low humidity and I think its better. I was referring to the humidity in his jar being 45 Percent which assuming
its in there closed awhile would be the bud humidity level. 45 percent is way to low. Humidifiers only make matters worse can you say hay.
The real secret is hanging the whole plant with all or most leafs still on which pulls the moisture out
of the stems so the buds dry evenly and are not crisp on the outside but wet in the middle.
I you dry them until All the leafs are crispy or close to crisp its also a much easier trim.
This is a fact learned after many years. I have tried all methods.

I can confirm the humidipaks can save you. Its fine to dry in low hum. As long as you know to keep your eye on it and when to seal it up.

A fast dry is not a cured bud! IMO...
I can always taste the difference in fast dried buds. Always harsher.
Of all the things to do to have a successful batch skipping the most important part (curing) is a big mistake on the grower and sadly their patients if they caregiver.
Simply research the processes that conspire when you chop your herbs down and you will see that the care after the harvest is what determines the different between Fire Herb and just Herb!

I feel it has to do with what you put in your plant personally. 3 day dry, 8 day dry, never get hay here.
