drying bud in a oven?????

If you get the temp set right you could use the oven for a vaperizer maybe... Maybe get a hose and stick it in the oven...

Pot of simmering water, with your herb in a steel bowl sitting on top. Best method period, faster than the microwave.

I just took out my cut up immature bud from the oven and works great, done it a couple of days now, but only the bottom ones and it makes me medicated. (About 10-14 days until harvest on G14 from fast buds) When I dried it for 3 hours on 50C it worked much better but it still is good enough to do a "quicke" for about 30-45 minutes around 75c but watch it, one moment a little wet next one completly dry.. But I like when you can "grind" buds with your hand haha even if they are 100% ready... Had a jar for own use on 35% humidity.

im gonna disturb this old ass thread. sorry. i have new info. i got an assload of plants and im ironically out of weed so i have a plant i broke every single rule with.

Rule one broken: I harvested when most trichomes were clear and the red hairs only started to curl.
Rule 2: some buds i cranked the oven to 170 and turned it off and let the buds hang. did this twice to a nice crispy dry.
rule 3: some buds i dried in the microwave. i noticed they become very dark green end dense.

some things i noticed. im high as can be off a normal sized joint. this worked with both the oven weed and microwave weed
they both tasted like crap due to early harvest and speed dry but the microwaved weed burned slower and was stickier/ denser.
i would say (total broscience) that microwaving your weed or drying in the oven doesnt nuke your thc. think about it you decarb a half gram nug at 300 for a brownie and it gets you lit.
212 is the max temp in a microwave.
just try it with one nug people. 3 minutes on 3 power level and flip it now and then it works in a pinch.
