Drying Buds in Less Than Ideal Conditions.

Hey Everyone

I still have about a month or so before harvest, but I have some concerns once it's time to harvest and dry. My temps at best are typically between 70 and 77F and RH 45-55. The humidity I can maintain but I have seen a lot of material advising to keep the temp at around 68F. Well if I was living by myself I could do this by blasting my central air but not really an option with a house full. Just wanted to ask if anyone out there had to deal with something similar and how it went. I am also thinking about getting a drying rack instead of hanging the whole plant.

I'm going to be dealing with something similar, what you can do is raise your humidity a tad. Another tip I've seen repeated here is to hang the entire plant to dry and do a dry trim rather than a wet one.

Also, see this chart. I know the temp range goes beyond what you will be drying at, but it's to give you an idea of how RH and temperature ties together when it comes to ideal drying conditions.

70-77F and 45-55RH is very good conditions for drying..
Just hang them and make sure you have some air movement around them
Should be dry in 7-10 days

Thank you. I realized after I posted this with lights off, I should be able to keep it at a max of 75F lol. Having some headroom is nice tho. Thanks.
