I have a bunch of trim i froze while it was fresh that i was going to bubble. I've since got my hands on some extraction equip - tube, vac chamber/pump, etc, and want to run the trim through it just for some experience. Do i need to dry it first? Can i just lay the trim out in my hanging net rack to dry or is it going to get extremely soggy first as it thaws? I don't want a bunch of plant material becoming embedded in the netting of my rack, happened once before PITA to clean. I was thinking of just running it straight out of the freezer, but it's still large pieces of leaves,I think it needs to be ground up a little more. Any ideas, what are my other options?

When you freeze it, the ice crystals rupture cell walls, so I've found it best to keep frozen until after it is extracted.

if your making BHO run it wet just use extra filters for the dewax and its very tasty compared to dry trims. i think the popular term is "live resin"

Very interesting I've always done it with normal bud but do you think freezing the bud before extraction would be better?
