It's most likely going to dry them out to fast and you'll end up with a harsh smoke.. Imo it's better to have the fan just circulating the air around the buds but not directly on them.
your going to screw it up man... I'm telling ya right now, your going to be pissed when your buds dry too quickly and all that chlorophyll (responsible for giving the product that 'green' or fresh hay smell/taste) gets trapped in the product because it was dried too fast/quickly.i have my fresh buds hanging and i have a fan blowing right on them? is this a good move? wiill it help dry faster?
Ah, damn it.. didn't see that post.If it dries to quickly. You'll have trapped chlorophyll in the bud. Making it taste and smell like crap.
Thats why the point of drying is to dry it as slowly as possible.
Curing is the same thing as drying your just doing it at a much slower rate. And in a Jar.

Drying should be done slowly.. same for the curing process.
I'd highly advise you to not point the fan directly at the product.
What you want to do, is point the fan away from the product that is drying, but leave the fan on.. and put it on low or medium (depending on the area size of where you are drying the product). What you want, is just some air circulation.. you don't want to point the fan directly at the product.
good luck.
Hehe np at all bud.Ah, damn it.. didn't see that post.
He beat me to the punch!
Nicely put Sutra.
peace..
what temp do you keep your dry room at ??? I'm guessing 65 F since it's that slow of a dry...no the buds should not be moving at all. you should not be able to feel the air circulating, just know that it is circulating.
the slower it drys the smoother it is.
im currently on week 3 of drying my diesel. super slow dry. then 3 months of curing THEN it will be some of the best weed people have tasted.....
Just keep the air circulating under the buds if it's drying slowly turn a fan on the buds for a couple hours a day. If you grow good pot you can dry it fast an it's still good I regularly smoke buds 4 days after harvest I actually like the high and the little spicy flavor of fresh budsi have my fresh buds hanging and i have a fan blowing right on them? is this a good move? wiill it help dry faster?
Haven't got a answer as of yet, I never grew before so I'm stumped at what to doI'm fixen to cut my baby down should I separate the branches or hang the whole plant with or without all the leaves this is last weeks pic.
tell us about your drying space...heat, temp, humidity air exchange. Mostly you will have to watch buds. I had some airy sativa buds that dried in half the time as more compact buds. Too many variables to give you a firm answer.Haven't got a answer as of yet, I never grew before so I'm stumped at what to do
Hellsya, and don't stop until they are dried and toke able.i have my fresh buds hanging and i have a fan blowing right on them? is this a good move? wiill it help dry faster?
