i was thinking the same exact question. if your willing to spend about 60 bucks heres a link to a thread about a herb dryer.

i was thinking a similar idea but cheaper and outdoor method. im thinking of taking a large rubbermaid tote and cutting 2 huge ventilation holes on each side and putting netting so bugs dont get inside, then hanging the herbs upside down inside and inspecting for mold each other day. i would then put this box outside to dry but i understand the cold would effect the speed of it drying but it will dry. like even bread inside the fridge drys up eventually.

All you need is a box fan, furnace filters, and a couple of bungie cords. Medicine between the filters. Bungies to strap them to the fan. 12-24 hours should do it. Check every 6 to make sure you don't over do it.

Yes it will be harsh at first but will get better as it cures. Nothing will replace a proper cure. I like this method because there's no heat to damage trichomes or decrease potency. Scales up or down pretty easy, I've done 4 filters deep or some bud wrapped in coffee filters for testing. The more uniform the buds the better and flip the filters around so they dry evenly.

just hang them in your closet. why spend money to dry your buds. and drying to fast does cause hash weed and it doesnt get to much better when dried to fast with a cure cuz the chlorophyll gets trapped
