Drying in 20% RH

This might have ask many before, but when it comes time to hang and dry the plants, how can it be done with a humidity as low as 20%

It can't be...properly, that is.

In air that dry, I would go straight to jars with it and burp them three times daily.

Hang until outside leaves are crispy, but stems bend and not break. Transfer to buckets with "gamma lids". Use a hygrometer to judge and burp daily until around 60% RH. Leave lid on and cure from there. Don't let humidity go over 62% inside bucket.

Get humidifier with a digital gauge that can adjust accordingly if not you’ll be disappointed. Drying imo is the most vital aspect of the grow.

this is all pretty good advice. the drying and curing process isn't just to get rid of water. the plant is full of chlorophyll, sugars, and carbohydrates. they take time to break down. at least a week. the amount of time the plant takes to dry is a separate thing...they don't intersect until the plant drops below about 58% humidity. the faster the plant dries, the less time it has to break all of those things down, and the longer it will take to smell/taste/burn good...so a short dry requires a long cure....or you're going to get hay-ey smelling, grassy tasting weed that is harsh

I trim it and hang it till the stems snap, then i put it in jars with boveda packets. Turns out just fine this way. I aint got time to be fucking around burping jars and shit.
