Drying in greenhouse

High! can any gardener tell me if bud will dry properly in a greenhouse?

Bud won't be ready for harvest ontill mid September. Living in damp ol Ireland.

Any one with any knowledge or experience with them humydry things that remove moisture from the air?

Any info is appreciated folks.

You want to dry your flowers somewhere dark with good air circulation, to avoid thc degradation and mold of course.

I use a grow tent or my closet with a small fan pointed away from the buds to prevent drying to fast

Ino how it's done indoors man but indoors is not an option as the quantity should be abundant and smell overwhelming.
So I'm tryna find out is it possible to dry the bud properly in a greenhouse?

If I hang the bud around the greenhouse with two mesh Windows on either side for clean air to blow through would that work?
And I will cover the greenhouse with black plastic for darkness

With the plastic cover and ventilation you should be fine. Just watch they don't dry too fast or go to molding. If it were me I would hang entire plants and trim when you take em down

Just to be sure is it essential for darkness when drying?
Would you wreckon there at risk of drying to quick the way I proposed?
I'll see what way I'll do it when there ready. I'll check how much air is flowing through and decide on hanging full plant or buds or maybe try both for some experience.
Any experience with humydry products mate?

Imo without a shade cover it's gonna get very hot and humid not to mention the sun might bleach some color from the flowers. The internet says light degrades the thc but I've never left any out in the sun so I can't verify that

Ye I suppose the shade keep it some way cool. But here in Ireland keeping things cool is not a problem. I'm going to try sticking one of these unibond aero 360 for the moisture in the damp parts of September early Oct. Sure I'll post later on let people know how everything turns out.
Have 4 hollands hope in the ground
And a couple of autos in pots.

You can use those moisture packs but on a small scale dry op. If you're drying in the GH you'd need a ton. In my small tent just for 6 oz of buds I needed to use about 12 large bags of the stuff, hung all about and only dropped the RH% by about 8...

Ye sure I'll see any way man thanks for your info.
I'm guna cut out two holes at either side for good ventilation as well as two of them unibond aero 360 I'm hearing nothing only good reviews with them but no body only yourself said about the green.
Large bags?
These unibond suck the moisture out of the air then you empty the collected water out of it. These supposedly last 3 months. Give it a go sure couldn't do any harm.

You can dry it anywhere, just have good airflow but not directly on the plants. Dry as slow as possible 7-10 days is good, and a slightly humid environment like around 60% is not a bad thing, not much higher or it can invite mould.

Light does degrade THC but not like overnight, that's just internet myth, takes months or constant light directly on them for a long period. Avoid direct light (you can just put a tarp up around them, good enough), avoid drying in the sun as besides being direct light it'll dry too fast and taste/smoke like shit.

I dry in cool temps and it allows for a very slow dry which is perfect, almost don't need to cure. But in cool temps I'd go with a rh lower than 60% if you can. Cool temps and high rh REALLY invite mold. I'd go with a dark room as well. Not sure of the science but I think you want to stop photosynthesis and production of chlorophyll so existing chlorophyll can break down to starch or whatever it does to taste better.

Thanks for the the gems man the slow dry in cool temp is a right one.
Very exited now I was reading nothing only people saying that's it's imperative to dryindoors.
I'll use the black plastic over the greenhouse as a cover so.
Can't wait to get them buds hanging up and better yet packed into spliffs.

Hey man I just noticed that was a few years ago fuckk but what ever happened I'm curious how it worked out for u. Because I'm doing exactly that this year, there's gonna be wayyyyy too much to dry indoors so I bought a cheap Outsunny 26' x 10' greenhouse i put down tarps for the floor. Have a good size dehumidifier to use also with thermostat. A heater with a thermostat. And a box fan. Didn't consider cover it tho
