Drying in jars?

I have no clue about drying plants ready for harvest, all I know is that it's best to let it dry over a week or so.
I don't really want to have it hanging in a room and I'd like it to be secluded. Would drying it in jars with holes in the lid work ok?

no, it would take too long and the humidity would probably build too quickly, if you need them to be hidden while still drying build a drying box of somesort with fans and you can add a carbon filter to cut the smell.

you need to hang them for 3 to 7 days until the stems snap and then you put them in jars to cure them. If you throw them in jars before drying they will mold over and your crop will be ruined!
