drying smell

Does the crop smell the whole time its drying? Durring flower you smelt nothing really guessing due to filter now the buds are hanging inside my tent but my whole house stinks.

Everytime someone comes into my place and says it smells like dank i get furious, i havent been able to smell bud without sticking my nose in it for almost a year now but for sure it stinks during final weeks of flowering and ive noticed it smells alfalfa-y until about day 3-4 with my drying method, (62f·, 40% humidity) but can easily vary.

I am running the filter im drying it in the tent i grew. I think its where i cut and just walked around the house or something hopefully now its hanging n the house is being airred out it smells less.

I think this is just a product of cannabis it stinks! I put an extra carbon scrubber in my basement besides the one scrubbing flower room. When I trim I kick on the extra scrubber. It does well against letting the smell not engulf your house. Not full proof but will def help.

ALWAYS have a carbon scrubber on when drying, as well as helping the smell issue it also draws the air and moisture out the plant, helpin it dry easier and reducing the possibility of mould.

Pleased to say ive gone out come back and cant smell a thing a slight smell in my room where the tent is but downstairs is fine so im pleased about that :)

word of warning here, you'll stop noticing the smell coz your nose has become accustomed to it, be careful of this , you may think its fine but people unaccustomed to it WILL notice. ive seen myself go into my grow for a quick 5 min check and then go into a shop a bit later and every fucker in the shop is giving me the funny look, or occasional smirk

Lol cheers dura :) my mums at work so will see if she notices when she gets back. We wont have no guests around until its down. Wish I lived alone id have no fucker knowing where I live and just have the xbox and weed for company

btw the smell tends to drop and then comes back when all the chlorophyll is away, while its present your weed may smell like a freshly mowen lawn. if ever you buy weed that has that aroma you know its not been dried correctly.

Yeah been told to expect that and curing it will solve the issue. I wont be buying weed ever again not at 250 an oz here in london lol

What makes me laugh is its 250 if its dank cheese which is all we get around here but also 250 for standard shit. If I could get it at 200 for good stuff id probably not grow until im living alone but landlords wont let you rent without a 9 to 5 these days and my works not regular enough
