haha so basically I had 4 plants going in a greenhouse (I live in Southern ontario canada BTW, avg temp is 0-5 C (30-40 F)), I chopped them all yesterday around this time right at the base of the plant, cut most of them in half and hung the halves of each in my greenhouse (cant do it inside because of smell).
So I did a rough trim of the bulk leaves to help clean em up a bit, as there was some light mold growing on few leaves (luckily none that I saw on buds) due to the high humidity and low temps we've been getting from hurricane sandy, been raining for over a week straight and i've been away at university so i couldnt monitor them, just had a friend watering.
Anyways, so it was quite cold last night and I figured i need some heat for drying to i turned on a small space heater last night, its been running since and keeping the temps in the low 20Cs (68F). Also air is fairly dry i believe because the space heater is dry heat and the greenhouse has no water in it anywhere and is completely sealed except a vent on top.
SO BASICALLY MY QUESTION IS: With this constant dry heat, how long should I leave them to dry? I hear between days and weeks online! Or should I leave them in the greenhouse without heat to dry?
The reason why its urgent is because I will be going to school and wont be able to take them down/put in jars till saturday if I dont put them in tomorrow morning.
Any help is appreciated!! Sorry for the long post, i like to make sure you know the details!
