Hi guys. Sorry the pictures are hard to make out what going on. So In a nut shell my res
Is about 6’ tall and my octabubblers are at about 3 feet and have a check valve on my incoming line to my external 1 hp shallow well pump and off the supply line I tee off the main closed loop line with a ball valve and goes back to the res about 6 inches from the top. So I filled up about 150 gallons and
Came back the next morning and the water level was down to the top of the octsbubblers. Roughly
Lost about 100 gallons, luckily I just piped out my run off for the first time thank sweet baby Jesus. I know this is hard to decipher , but thanks in advance for any help amigos.

Google anti-siphon valve. Or you can raise your whole grow off the ground and lower your res. Edit : Anti-siphon valve can just be a hole in the line that comes out of your res, at the highest point, that returns your nutes back to the res.

Put a hole in the supply line running to your plants inside your reservoir, above your max height water line.
When the pump kicks on to feed it will shoot a stream back into the reservoir. Pump shuts off and it acts as an air break allowing the feed line to break suction.
1/8"-1/4" hole is more than enough.

I'm just going by what I've read, don't have any real life experience (full discloser), so hopefully others can chime in here... worth considering the larger the hole, the more pressure you lose from your pump.
