ok so I am going to use an acinfinity T6 unit for my exhaust fan but was wondering about what ducting I should go with? I see a bunch of brands, is there really any difference with these? I am basically looking at ipower & acinfinity brands.. one thing I was wondering because I was leaning more to the acinfinity was the color.. it's black verses the ipower which is silver., would the silver give me the added benefit of reflection of light as opposed to the black?

No there’s little difference between them. I use just standard 8 inch silver ducting from Home Depot.
ok Thanks, I am going with amazon or ebay, I checked with acinfinity they said it is not rated as fire resistant but it is insulated. I am using a 600 watt led, do you think I should be safe or should I opt for the fire resistant just to be on the safer side of things? Would the insulation help me at all if it is just being used for exhaust?

Yah your fine. I wouldn’t worry about the ducting being fire proof.

insulated ducting is better for sound control if you are worried about that. I use the black, is it silicon coated?? type of duct. Its sort of 1/2 way between the plain silver and the insulated and a bit tougher than the base silver.
If money isn't an issue go with AC infinity. They have good quality stuff. I use the cheap ipower ducting but am usually concerned about there being tiny holes somewhere that might let smell in. Both work fine
