That's the very sort of toy ioniser I was talking about. If that one's yours- sorry!

The small ones like that are of course corona type, but they have very small power supplies which don't generate the seriously high voltages needed to produce enough O3 to do much good. You might be able to smell something ozone-y if you put your nose up to one, but it's not going to be generating many milligrams of ozone per hour.

Competent corona types use a power transformer like you'd find on a neon sign, about 15,000V at a few mA, and usually have a fan to pull air through the unit.

BTW, the dispenser of bad advice had the unit located in his grow cupboard but it was behind the extractor fan, so it couldn't do the buds any damage.

Yep, that's the only way I'd use a corona type- in the exhaust duct, never in room air, triggered only when the exhaust fan is running. Fairly useful in that application.

California says I can have up to 12 vegetating plants (6 rooting clones, 6 vegging ladies), 6 flowering plants, and up to 8oz dried flower for medicinal usage.

That said, I am not going to tell the cops I am growing and give them the middle finger salute as a puff a J in their face... the city cops who think they work for the national goverment are the ones that ruffle everyone's feathers.

Its the Feds that can get you outright. They are the ones that send out the Cease and Desist orders. They are the ones that send you to federal fuck you in the ass prison. Ouch.

Oh, but I am. I was very restrained in that post. I don't like it when people suggest we are not free. If we believe we are right we should fight for that right.

If I want to go on a march and stick one finger up to the establishment I consider myself a hero. A soldier fighting the good fight. They catch me I take it like a man, I tell them "fuck you, I'm my own man. I have hurt nobody. shove your law up your fucking ass, assholes!" ...and then i wait to get out and start all over again.

If we resign ourselves to the illegality just because 'what is, is', nothing will ever change. As movements are made forward, people need to be willing to take risks to support the ideals. Luckily not everyone just sits back and takes it.

talk about your mis-information!! I will only say this.. OZONE generators ARE NOT IONIZERS. IONIZERS are NOT OZONE GENERATORS. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING. IONIZERS ARE IONIZERS AND OZONE GENERATORS ARE OZONE GENERATORS..no such thing as a corona ionizer and etc..sheesh

Hell, unless you actually live in a state that has legal limitations to Marijuana, i would only keep a nice little grow. Itll be alot easier to get rid of if shit and fan meet.
But who am i to suggest anything, people can do what they want. It's just a plant.

who's the dumd ass. I live in California, I have my medical card, I have personaly been pulled over by the Orange County Sheriffs, and they returned my 1/2 ounce I just picked up. The weed store is right next to the police station, dumb ass .I have 20 large plants in my back yard, someone called the police, the police went, first to the person that posted the complant and told them to mind their own business, then they came to my house to see the plants that are still there, dumbshit

i used to work for an eon energy provider, just tell the electric company you have a new hot tub, swimming pool, or sauna. stuff like this can be a great way to mask the actual reasons why your bill is sky high! however be aware that they can also see the time of day you use your power. not to mention how much your using it. it's pritty rare that the energy provider will call the feds on you...
