dumb newb needs help.

I've been looking around at this site a while, read some threads and what not. And i had some questions.
Since i still live with parents, i was wondering if growing is still possible?

I have a trundel bed, and i was thinking i could grow underneath it. But i got overwhelmed with all the experienced growers terms, and pics, etc.

I just want to do something really basic, i thought the aerogarden could do it, but someone said thats no good. Then someone said i should use the magic hydroponic, but it looks pretty big.

So my question is. Can i grow some basic plant under my bed, without rewiring the house, and buying gadgets and gizmos?

Get a bunk bed and sleep on the top, you could grow like 30 plants lol jk, wait till you get your own place, lol ive heard of hiding stuff under the bed but comon, what kinda work space is this gonna be, and dont ya think ya parent are gonna get worried when your spending most of your time under your bed ha ha
