Durban poison.

Hey everyone.

A friend is about to start growing. The strain he mentioned wanting to grow first is Durban Poison.

I see that Dutch Passion do the only feminised version on the Attitude seedbank list. Anyone had experiences with the strain? Growing or smoking?

Anyone had any experience with any other Durban Poison strain that seeds are available for? I see Sensi do a regular version.

Any and all advice welcomed.

It's a unstable strain to begin with.
IMO- I'd pick a more stable strain to grow.
I've grown two crops of it. First crop was good. Second crop all the DP's hermaphrodites.
The seeds were from Dina-Fem, But after some research into to it I found the strain was naturally unstable.
Buyer beware I guess. Is the best advice I can give you.

I have not ran a feminized version of Durban poison. But I have ran the regular Sensi version years ago. For an almost 100% sativa the flowers are not as airy as say a different landrace sativa. How it hit me was almost synonymous to Lavender. Both prolly share the same dominant terpene and I believe its oh heck cant remember. Both those strains make you happy. The smell and taste is of anise. DP was my first landrace sativa and years ago it seemed finicky but then my horticulture skills were limited. I believe Nirvana carries it and also Barneys but have not seen good nor bad reviews. Best of luck with your search.

I got some from Krondizzle and damn it was good!! I'm very surprised to hear that it's a sativa since it has rock hard nugs.

used to get DP back in the day. It was literally the best smelling weed I had ever had.

just smoked some dp and got a lil nug the other day from it..
2 different pheno's of it, but both were awesome.. super hard nugs, and a smell to die for.. nice, up, sativa high from it..

i forgot what breeder my friend said it came from, but it's super nice any way..

Not grown DP, but I have Power Africa flowering just now and it's looking pretty good for the small pot it's in and all ....
It was a free seed I got from Rhino with a order.... If I had of grown it in my large pots would of been massive ...

what has this got to do with DP, well it's a cross between DP and skunk....

Heres a picture, I am happy with it considering the effort I put in and the pot size... The buds smell really lemony

So I would say go for it if you have the height, cause there tall ....
